Title: Mercurial Luminescence Author: Anonymous Pastebin link: http://pastebin.com/ZYWNAeq8 First Edit: Tuesday 1st of September 2015 09:04:33 PM CDT Last Edit: Tuesday 1st of September 2015 09:04:33 PM CDT Name: Mercurial Luminescence   Racial skills: Crystal Emotions: passive; when you roll a critical success, your rolls next turn receive a +1 bonus Recovering Memory: Once per session; While the Dark Lord’s magic forced you to forget most of your old life, every now and then you have bouts of memory. You can use Recovering Memory to ‘forget’ a one point skill and ‘remember’ another one. (must be picked from your class skill list) Class skills: Necromachines: Spell, Recharge 3 after effect ends; Asserts control over the tiny organisms inside a body to ensure temporary countermeasures against mortality. An affected target will remain standing after death, and can be targeted as normal. It is not undead, but if it was hostile, the Necromancer now controls it while it lasts. If it is an ally, it can still be saved with healing. Anyone affected with Necromachines lives for 1d10 turns after death, rolled at the moment of death. Only one target can be affected by Necromachines at the same time. Transfix: spell; overpowers an opponent's mind, rendering them helpless as long as you successfully use this skill on them. All rolls after the first success have Min 5+. On crit, you control the target as though it were a minion for the next turn. Fortify: Instant; Recharge 2 after effect ends. Target takes 1 less hit from the next counterattack they suffer. 2 less on a crit. Talent: Sigil of domination Rolls to sustain Transfix are instant, +1 to Transfix Bio: Long story cut short, Lumi has never studied dark arts in order to acquire his abilities. Mercurial has as little to do with them as imaginable. His magic' s roots lie in his heartfelt worries over others' safety and well-being... and regrettably, fear, too. They correnspond to his crystal magic, and are generally manifestations of his rather pacifistic ways. At least were once. He' s had problems with memory as well as some personal distress ever since being enslaved and affected by Sombra' s mind numbing spell. That took quite a toil on his character and well-being. Having received both hope and encouragement from the fellow citizens of the Crystal Empire and the passers-by from Equestria, he' s decided to take on the route of cultural and social re-introduction, seeking inspiration in little events all over the country. Considering oneself sort of an artist and such. That' s exactly the reason why this pony has found itself among the endangered ones during the unfortunate events of the Nightmare Realm actually.   Equipment: Wind Wizard Costume - perhaps a remnant of the past long gone, yet still vivid in the memory of a creature from a millenium ago. The character the Crystal Pony decided to impersonate on this Nightmare Night is a petty villain of sorts. He was able to fly, due to his element' s manipulation and presumably do some other stuff with it, but what made him be recognizable was that he hunted for living (usually little) sentient creatures and put them inside his ships in bottles as to make them look more lively. Encompassing red robes without a hood,  though with some really wide sleeves, blue slippers, big, straggly grey beard, a two-pronged stick, which served as a wand and an obligatory ship in a bottle. 70 Candy pieces Lich Lollipop (Reference - http://www.candywarehouse.com/assets/item/large/rainbow-swirl-giant-lollipop-129232.jpg  - though with various shades of purple instead) >Tight Skin's Bracelet: While equipped, DC -1 to skills from the Necromancer class as well Necromancer-bound multiclasses. Critfails when using those are more dangerous while equipped. [currently equipped] Undead minion: >Giant Pumpkin Zombie >75 HP due to extensive damage >Vines have 20 HP, but lack their regeneration quality >Necro Spit: ranged; causes necrotic damage. On crit, causes a wound of damage in addition to any other damage caused. If target doesn't have wounds, then extra damage is dealt in addition instead.
