Several quills hit the tiled floor as he bowed as low as he could. He trembled as he looked up at his mentor at the far end of the room. The sun prince had his back to his student and was looking out the window. There was absolute silence, and not another soul there to interrupt it. The shivering purple alicorn didn't stop bowing, and cracked under the oppressive silence.         “My things are packed! I am ready to be banished! One word and I'am gone! Just please don't imprison me! I'd never last in prison! Banish me to ponyville! No one will hear of this! Cross my heart and hope to-”         “Enough.” There was no animosity or anger behind the word, and when the prince turned his head to look at his student, Dusk was greeted with the same old fatherly look that Solaris always had. “My little pony, What a strange thing to say. Why would I banish you? What reason could you possibly have for me to call you up here just to have you banished?”         Dusk Shine blinked, dumbstruck by the one response he hadn't expected. He had been imagining a million scenarios of what will happen when he stepped into this room, but that was not one of them. He rose from his bow, hurridly collecting several odds and ends that had fallen from his packs. “Ah, nothing Prince Solaris No reason at all.”         “You look distraught. What could make you act in such a way?” Solaris's voice was so caring, so normal, it terrified Dusk Shine.         “No-nothing at all Prince! The letter you sent was so short. Yes, that's it. It was short. You never send letters with just two words on them.” Dusk's brow was sweating, he couldn't remember a time he outright lied to the prince. However, beneath all that fear was a single little thought that was starting to bloom in the back of his brain. 'Maybe he hasn't read it.'         Solaris turned to face his student and made his way across the room. His hoof falls clinking against the tiles with each step. “I'd never banish you. You are my faithful student. Now tell me the reason you think I'd banish you.”         Dusk fumbled for words, “It's nothing. A missunderstanding. Nothing important.”         Solaris chuckled, “Nothing? And this 'nothing' caused you to be late, and when you do arrive you are packed to leave. Tell me.” Dusk didn't notice the shift in his mentor's tone, and was only focused on just how close Solaris was getting to him. The alicorn was towering over him. He kept walking forward, forcing the Dusk to take a frightened step back.         In his backward's retreat, he bumped into the door he had entered from. He tried to open it with his magic, only to remember that it opened inward, and with his weight now against it, and hs teacher looming over him, he had no chance of escape.         “Tell me. Why would I banish you?” Prince Solaris's whispered in a maleviliant tone. The younger prince was staring into a pair of eyes unfamiliar to him. He was so close to him now. His flowing, always moving mane was brushed against his snout. He could feel Solaris's heated breath against his coat. His head was swimming, and his heart was thundering as his mentor repeated the word's 'Tell me.' in an even lower whisper.         It all came out as a gushing stream, “BECAUSEIHAVEASECRETJOURNALFULLOFMYDEEPESTFEELINGSANDSECRETSANDITWENTMISSING-” He took a deep breath, “...ANDTHENISUDDENLYGETALETTERFROMYOUWITHTHESAMEFONTASINTHEBOOKANDIAMSUREIWILLGETBANISHED-” and another breath, “...BECAUSETHEBOOKISFULLOFHOWIFEELABOUTYOU!”           Dusk Shine stood there, panting, with a horrified look on his eyes, as his whole body trembled. That last part wasn't supposed to come out. Now he was sure to get banished.         Solaris smiled gently and gave his student some breathing room. “Well that's interesting. I hadn't actually found out what was in it.” A small, familiar book crawled out of the prince's mane and floated infront of him as he continued, “You see, there were so many spells on the book that it looked impossible to open.”         Dusk Shine gave an audible sigh of relief. Even if he had damned himself with what he just said, his beloved mentor will never know the things he wrote on those pages during those lonely nights.           Then, without a sound, noise, or explosion, the book flipped open and Prince Solaris started reading it as casually as if it was his own journal.   Dusk Shine passed out.   **           “Take me. Please.” Before the words could even be whispered, Dusk felt teeth against his neck, and hot saliva mixed with firery breath against his body. He could feel the whole weight of Solaris pressing down on him. His alabaster wings spread wide, making his teacher seem even more impressive and all powerful.         He could feel something pressed up against his stomach. It was hotter than Solaris's breath, and hotter than the mouth clamped down on his neck. It was burning him, but that only made him crave more. He couldn't think, everything was swirling. Most of what left his lips was jibberish, but a few coherent words would fall from time to time,         “Please. Please. I've always wanted this.”         Dusk's face was swallowed up by Solaris's mane, and he revelled in the smell of it, but for one brief second, it parted and allowed him to see over the prince's shoulder, down his strong back, and towards the door behind him. It was slightly ajar, and Artemis's head was poking through the gap and staring back at Dusk with a coy grin.   **         Dusk woke up. He was lying on the hard tiles of the Council Chamber with a pillow between his head and the floor.  He got up, wondering why he was sleeping on the floor...until he say Solaris sitting by a nearby table, reading the tiny journal and writing in it with a quill. Everything flooded back to him and his heart was racing again. His mentor knew everything. EVERYTHING! Even what he wrote on page fifty three.         Solaris looked over at him, he had on a dainty pair of reading glassess. He smiled coyly, “I didn't expect you to pass out, but atleast it looked like you had a good dream.”         Dusk looked down, and felt it before he saw it. The dream had been a little too stimulating for the young colt. He quickly sat on his haunches to hide his arousal. A visible blush replacing the lavender coat on his face. The blush only deepened when he heard a gentle laugh come from his teacher's lips.         “I am...I am going to go now...and hide myself somewhere. I'll keep my things packed in case you still decide to banish me.”         Solaris got up, the journal trailed after him. “I told you I'd never banish you.” He got right up to Dusk, shoved the book into the colt's chest, and planted a delicate, almost chaste kiss on Dust's trembling lips. The young student stood there in shock, with his journal held in his forelegs. The unrealness of it all solidified when he noticed that his book felt different. He looked down, and could tell that it had been enchanted.         “I gave it a better locking spell. Now that it's back in your possession no pony, not even Artemis nor myself can open and view what's inside.” Solaris leaned in again, and Dusk cosed his eyes and puckered his lips...but didn't get a kiss, and instead heard Solaris whisper, “There will be rules to how this works. Trysts between royalty can never be like those of normal ponies. You've had your taste for today Dusky, go and spend the day clearing your head and thinking about what just started here today.” He helped the colt up and opened the door for him. “Read the cliff notes when you are ready.”         Dazed, confused, and slightly horny, Dusk stepped out of the room. Then jumped in shock when a wing slapped his flank. Several more things fell from his saddlebags as the door behind him slammed shut. He sat there for a second, suddenly feeling like he was drowning.           “Well...at least I didn't get banished.”
