"Oh! Uhm, Nothing. I-I was just going to ask if you had plans this weekend? I heard the bookstore got the new Calradian Crusades deck." >Ever since you met her in middle school, you've been head over heels in spaghetti-induced love with her. >When your family moved from Californeigha, you were extremely hesitant, to put it quite mildly. >Suddenly uprooted from all your friends and thrown all the way across the country into Manehattan. >You felt so out of place. >Alone. >Unable to push yourself into many of the well-established group of friends, you found solace in the library. >There, you met people more of your caliber, who shared similar interests with you. >To put it more bluntly, they were a bunch of nerds. >Forgoing the typical interest in cars, sports, and the such, you and the group bonded over your interests in video games, books, and movies >Every brunch and lunch was spent in the library, playing Calradian Crusade and making wisecracks about current events. >Everyone became a good friend to you. >But you grew the closest to Moondancer >Her expression changes to pure joy. >"NO WAY REALLY?!?" >She clamps her hands to her mouth, realizing that some students are looking at her. >Even the teacher is staring at her. >Her face turns a brighter shade of red than her hair. >You place a hand over your mouth in an attempt to suppress a laugh. >Moondancer furrows her brow and pushes you in mock anger. >"It's not funny.." >She crosses her arms and makes a pout a kindergartner would envy. >This only makes your attempt at concealing your laughter even harder. >You turn your head away in an effort to conceal your laughter, as you feel your ability to keep it in wearing down. >This only annoys Moondancer more, as she continues packing her stuff with a huff. >Gathering your fortitude, you turn back to her with a smile. "Yeah really." >She looks up at you in mild irritation as your response sends you into a small fit of giggles. >With another huff, Moondancer slings her bag on her shoulder and makes for the door. >"Maybe I'll just get it myself, then." >You stop mid laugh and pull your backpack onto your back and follow her out into the hall. >You catch up to her as the both of you make your way through the throng of students eager to leave for the weekend. "You'll need me to get it though." >Her gait doesn't skip a beat, her attention focused on the living maze in the hallway. >"Oh yeah? And why's that?" >You push past the sentient cotton candy known as Pinkie Pie pulling muffins and cupcakes out of her locker. "Because I passed by there this morning on the way to school. There was a huge line there. At least 20 people." >"They can't all be there for the deck." "I can guarantee you they are all there for the deck. >You notice that doubt is forming across her face. >You lean over and say in a slightly singsong voice. "But since I know someone who works there, I could get it for you before they start selling it." >She turns to you, and you can swear you saw a twinkle in her eyes. >"Really? You can do that? And for me? >God she looks so cute. >You bring yourself back to reality before your thoughts get any more perverse. "Of course I can. What else are friends for?" >A smile bursts onto her face, threatening to tear her face in half. >"ohmigoshthankyousomuchwhatwouldidowithoutyou!" >You chuckle at her energetic outburst. "Probably be forced to wait in line with 30-something year old disappointments only to find out that the deck is sold out?" >She giggles at your response as the both of you reach the exit to the outside world >You push the door open so you and Moondancer can escape, and are greeted by the blinding light of the afternoon sun peeking out through some clouds. >The two of you shield your eyes as you walk out in search of your car. >You spot your dull gray car, and motion Moondancer to follow you. "Cmon, Moon! I'll take you home after we get it." >She smiles warmly in response and follows you to your car, clutching her bag anxiously. >You two walk past a bunch of athletes engaging in what you assume is banter about the soon to be homecoming game. >Not wanting to catch the attention of them ,you put yourself in between them and Moondancer, walking as calmly as possible. >The two of you pass by without any incident as you make it to your car. >You unlock your car and motion for her take shotgun as you take your position behind what you like to call the helm. >Moondancer takes her seat and places her bag between her legs. >Her beautiful, smooth legs. >Legs that lead up to gorgeously shaped thighs and... >Focus, anon. >Your parents would be pissed if you got distracted while driving. >You've been a good driver for this long, no need for an accident now. >Turning the ignition, you feel your car roar to life. >You plug your phone in and select a song from your extensive playlist. >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQCmS3ZO6R8 [Embed]
