- >You're waiting for Twilight to return with your glass of water.
- >While you wait, you decide to have another look at the large map.
- >...Most of the locations seem to be called equine-versions of familiar places. Canterlot, Fillydelphia, Trottingham...
- >You hear the sound of liquid being poured into two glasses, then, hoofsteps.
- >Moments later, Twilight returns from the kitchen with two levitating glasses of water.
- >She returns to the table, and sets the glasses down.
- >"There you go, Anon."
- "Thank you."
- >You pick up the glass and take a second to inspect the water. It's crystal clear.
- >You drink about half the water in the glass, then put it back down.
- "Miss Twilight?"
- >"Yes?"
- "That thing you do. When you move things around. Is that telekinesis?"
- >"Ummm... no? Just regular unicorn magic."
- "Magic?"
- >"Hmhm, of course. Don't they have magic where you're from?"
- "...No. In fact, until today, I thought magic only existed in stories and legends."
- >Twilight raises an eyebrow.
- >"Really?"
- "Yes, really."
- >"Wow... I can't imagine how difficult it must be, not having magic to help you out..."
- "Well, I manage without it... Just about."
- >"What's it like, Anon? The land you come from?"
- "...It's different. Very different, from everything I've seen here."
- >"Different how?"
- "Ponies don't talk, for starters."
- >"...Seriously?"
- "Seriously. They don't have wings or horns, either. Pegasi and Unicorns are considered mythical creatures."
- >"...That's really something, Anon. Wherever you come from, it must be really far away from Equestria."
- >*Knock knock*
- >"Oh, somepony's at the door. Excuse me for a moment, Anon."
- >Twilight walks off towards the door. The knocking becomes louder and more rapid.
- >*KnockknockKNOCKKNOCK*
- >"TWILIGHT? ARE YOU THERE? HELLOOOOOOOO~"
- >"I'm almost there, Pinkie."
- >Twilight walks up to the door and opens it with, what you've learned, is unicorn magic.
- >Once opened, the doorway reveals the familiar Applejack, and a smiling, pink pony with blue eyes.
- >"Hi girls. Come on in."
- >*Whoosh*
- >The pink pony rushes past Twilight at an impossible speed, and appears before you.
- >"HI! You must be Anon! I'm Pinkie Pie!"
- "Uhh.. Nice to meet you, Miss-"
- >"Wow, I've never, never, ever seen anything like you before!"
- "Uhm-"
- >Pinkie somehow tugs at your shirt with her hoof.
- >"Oooohh, are these your clothes? They look really strange! Heeheehee! Do you wear these all the time?"
- "Well, not this specific set of clothes but-"
- >Pinkie is getting rather close... She's standing on her hind legs with her front hooves pressed against your upper torso.
- >Her face is also about an inch away from yours. Normally, having other people this close to you makes you feel uneasy but you feel fine at the moment, if a little surprised.
- >"Where do you come from anyway, Anon? Are there other creatures like you? Are-"
- >A purple aura surrounds Pinkie, and she floats back a couple of feet before being released.
- >"Hmhm, easy there, Pinkie."
- >"Right, right. Anyway, welcome to Ponyville, Anon!"
- "Hmhm, thank you."
- >Twilight and Applejack walk over to the table, joining you and Pinkie.
- >"Hey there, Anon!"
- "Miss Applejack."
- >"Did yah find out how tah get back home?"
- "Uhm, no, actually, I didn't..."
- >"Oh... that's too bad, Anon. Weren't any ah Twahlite's maps any help?"
- >"Well, unfortunately, they weren't, AJ. Somehow, Anon seems to have just... appeared, here. I don't think he simply... walked into Equestria."
- >"So, Yah think it were magic, what brought him here?"
- >"Well, maybe, I'm not sure. Anon said they don't even have magic where he comes from..."
- >"So, if magic didn't bring Anon here, what did, Twilight? "
- >"...I don't know, Pinkie."
- >*Sigh*
- "Uhm...I don't wish to cause alarm, but... is it possible that I'm... Dreaming?"
- >"HUH?"
- "I know, that must sound very strange, to you all. Let me explain. You see, Equestria is... Just so incredibly different, from the world I live in, that it really is... dreamlike, by comparison... Sorry."
- >"Hmm."
- >Applejack steps closer to you, and raises her right foreleg.
- >You can guess what's coming, but for some reason you make no attempt to move your foot as Applejack's hoof quickly descends upon it.
- "Aagh!"
- >"That real enough? Hmhmhm."
- >That kind of hurt, but judging by Applejack's jolly expression, she was only playing around.
- "Ah ha ha... So, I'm not dreaming. Thank you for clarifying that, Miss Applejack."
- >Pinkie giggles quietly.
- >*Knock knock*
- >There's the door, again. You wonder what colour pony is behind it this time.
- >You hear a gentle, but clearly male voice from the other side of the door.
- >"Twilight? Can you get the door?"
- >Twilight opens the door with telekin- Uh, unicorn magic.
- >Behind the door, you don't see a p0ny, but a stack of books, being carried by a concealed but obviously short creature.
- >You can only make out two purple feet from your angle.
- >"Hey, Spike."
- >"Hey. I took that package to the post office, and I got those new books from the store, like you wanted."
- >"Good job. Just put them on the table, over there."
- >"Sure."
- >The unknown creature named Spike begins walking towards the table, still hidden by the tower of books he's carrying.
- >"Y'know, I saw Lyra on the way home and she said Applejack and "a really amazing creature" came here earlier. What's she talking about?"
- >"She must have been talking about Anon."
- >"Anon? What's an Anon?"
- >Spike lifts the books onto the table, then walks into view.
- >...!
- >Standing before you, is a dragon!
