>She has the audacity to tell you to end the best thing that's happened since you arrived

>"If you continue your relationship, Applejack's lust will only become stronger, meaning she'll stop at nothing to get what she wants. Even if it means hurting -you- or Pinkie in the process. The Elements of Harmony need to -be- in harmony if-"

"So that's it, huh?"

>"Anon please lis-"

"That's the real reason why you want me to end it. Hell, that's the -only- reason. You don't care about me or my relationship. You just want your precious Elements playing nice with each other so you're guaranteed a quick way out of any shit Equestria gets in."

>"Now listen here, I-"

"Don't try to lie to me. I was here during the Discord shit. Twilight -told- me you've been disconnected from the Elements since banishing Nightmare Moon. You told her yourself. That's why you need them. That's wh-"

>"ENOUGH!"

>Celestia's voice booms throughout the throne room

>You reel back

>"Now I may need Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack and Rainbow Dash in the bonds of friendship to help Equestria in its time of need, but that doesn't mean I do not care for their well-being. I care about every creature in Equestria, from p0nies to diamond dogs, dragons to manticores, griffon to buffalo. And that includes you, Anon."

>She looks at you with a straight face

>"Besides...not all problems can be solved with the Elements of Harmony..."

>You hate to admit it, but she's right

>The recent changeling invasion during the Canterlot Royal Wedding proved that much

>It seemed the Elements could only be used against deities, not natural creatures

>"This is how it must be, Anon. Applejack's lust will only drive her farther. And you've noticed Twilight looking more fatigued lately? She doesn't have Spike to shelve books or send letters for her since he's been looking out for you. She's more than likely been rummaging through piles endlessly searching for one book each time she needs one."

>Twilight -has- looked exhausted nearly every time you've seen her lately

>Does she really depend on Spike that much?

>It doesn't matter now. You have a feeling she'll be getting her assistant back after this.

>"Anon...I'm sorry. Bu-"

"I get it...If I don't do it, either me or Pinkie are gonna get hurt, or Equestria could be doomed."

>Celestia smiles weakly and attempts to hoof on your shoulder as you look down

>A tear drops from your eye onto the floor

>You turn and leave before her hoof meets your shoulder

 

"One ticket to P0nyville please..."

>The elderly unicorn at the ticket desk pulls one from a roll of tickets

>"That'll be five bits, son."

>You reach in your pocket and pull out five bits. You place them on the counter and the unicorn levitates the ticket to your palm

>"Last train out for the night. Where ya headed to this late anyway, son?"

"Urgest business. Just something I...ha-...I'm supposed to do."

>"Well good luck to ya."

"Thanks...I'm gonna need it."

>You walk up the stairs of the platform and board the train

>You make a b-line for a random compartment

>You open the door swiftly and close it just as quick, dropping on the empty seat with a heavy sigh

>This sucks

>Like...seriously. This really sucks

>Celestia tells you to end your relationship with Pinkie Pie

>And the only thing you can do is talk shit to her face

>Maybe if you had been a bit more diplomatic you could've found some way around this

>But no, now your chances are squandered

>Besides, how could Celestia stop Applejack, the Element of fucking Honesty, from attempting rape?

>It's not like she'd control free will just for your sake

>And the free will of one of the Elements, no less

>You curse Applejack's obscene honesty. Why did it have to extend to her desires?

>You groan as you punch the back rest of the seat

"How am I going to do this?..."

>"Do what?"

 

>You jump, hearing a male voice from across the compartment in the other seat

"Who's there?"

>You sit up and look to the shadow blanketing the other half of the compartment

>A brown earth p0ny with a flat-top, green and white shirt and sunglasses steps from the shadow

>His voice sounds incredibly familiar

"John Goodman?"

>"What? No, I'm Walter Coltchack. Who's John Goodman?"

"...No one, forget I said it."

>"Alright..well what's up, kid? You look like hammered shit."

"I -feel- like hammered shit."

>"Mind lettin' a colt know what's up?" He says sitting on the other side of the seat

"I gotta break it off with my girl."

>"What for?"

"Well...if I don't a friend of hers could hurt me or worse. Hurt her. That and Equestria's fucked if I don't."

>"That's pretty fucked."

"You're telling me."

>Another voice rises from the shadows, a higher toned male voice

>"Fuck everyone else! Keep your girl, I say."

>Steve Buscemi?

>"Shut the fuck up, Donny. You're outta your element. Couldn't even buy the fuckin' tickets. I bet you haven't even been listening to the guy's story."

>The p0ny named Donny shuts the fuck up

>"Anyway, fuck everyone else. Keep your girl."

>"That's what I said!"

>"Shut the fuck up, Donny."

"Well I would...except Celestia told me to do it."

>"Damn, kid. You musta fucked up big time to get -her- in your business."

"The thing is, I'm with Pinkie Pie."

>"Who?"

"One of the Elements of Harmony."

>"Elements of what?"

"They helped banish Nightmare Moon and saved Princess Luna?"

>"Nope."

"They came together and defeated Discord?"

>"Not ringin' a bell, kid."

>You facepalm

>"Look, kid, whoever this...Pinkie Pie is. You love her, right?'

"Yeah."

>"And she loves you back, right?'

"Yes."

>"Then? What's the big deal? Her friend wants to hurt you? You still got your girl. Her friend decides to hurt her? Fuck up her day."

>Deep down you know he's right

>But you can't go against Celestia's orders

>She has the power to banish you to Tartarus

>Or the moon

>And everywhere in between

>She can send you away from P0nyville

>Force you to live in the West

>Or the Griffon Kingdom

>Whether you like to admit it or not, she has power over your future

>And you're not so sure she'd hold back using it if you disobeyed direct orders

>You sit in silence with the two p0nies until the train stops at P0nyville

 

>You exit the compartment, but not before bidding Walter and Donny farewell

>Donny stayed in the shadow, somewhat embarrassed from being told to shut the fuck up twice

>Before you closed the door Walter bid you good luck in your endeavors

>To which you replied like you did once before to the same question

"I'm gonna need it."

>You step off the train and enter P0nyville, the moon lighting your path

>You're not sure whether to do this tonight or not, but one thing's for sure
