  1. >You are Anon
  2. >You're pilot tag? Ghost-11
  3. >You died in the last battle.......well not died, just transported to who knows where by a trans-dimensional torpedo to a Terra-Class planet, very similar to Earth.
  4. >Maybe this would have been an excellent vacation after years in the Terran Federation Space Navy; your body and mind had been crying for some kind of vacation.
  5. >But not today.
  6. >Even stranded in what is probably a place very far away from home, you still have a duty, not dictated by your government or something like that, but dictated by yourself. You will not make the same mistake. Not again.
  7. >But why you're doing this? Just because 5 Warrior-Type units from the Space Bio-hazard race somehow managed to follow you from the wormhole that got you here.
  8. >That wouldn't be much of a problem. You have been more tight situations in the past and live through them.
  9. >But there was a problem. Those Warrior Types didn't even pay attention to you.
  10. >They went straight to that colorful new planet. That ringed a bell in your thoughts. There's life in that planet. Life they would try to destroy, with pretty much success if you didn't make something about it.
  11. >Now, atmospheric combat, with a BA suited for space warfare will be a challenge.
  12.
  13.
  14. >Putting a small probe in a geocentric orbit, just to boost the radar capability of your Battle Armor, and hopefully to pinpoint your exact location on the galaxy.....if you where still in your galaxy, you put your throttle at max speed.
  15. >It is time.
  16. >Inputting a direct intercept route, shortly you can feel by the sudden but constant shakes, that the atmosphere of this planet is trying to burn your Ba.
  17. >After a few seconds, an alert of excessive temperature in the frame of your BA appeared in your main screen.
  18. Activate Voice Command. Deploy energy shield in the front.
  19. >A green energy-based shield quickly formed in the front of your BA, dissipating the heat of the reentry maneuver.
  20. >Good thing you chose those mid-ranged missile pods when resupplying near the New Berlin.
  21. >Even though they carried the missiles, their size allowed to fit inside small surplus energy generators for, although not intended, this kind of maneuver.
  22. >While waiting , some data came up to your main screen. A tactical map of your wide combat zone. Also the composition of the atmosphere of this planet. Identical to Earth's.
  23. When reaching normal atmosphere, withdraw and recharge shield. Bring up enemy locations.
  24.

  27.
  28. >After reaching normal atmosphere you can see white lines, probably from the friction of the "air" of this planet, while your shield dissipates.
  29. >The location of the Warrior Types appeared in your screen. Three went into different locations, two where still very close to you.
  30. Lock on to the three that are farther way. Prepare Mid-range missiles.
  31. >In your virtual gyroscope you could two red dots not far away from your location, and other three almost in the edge, with squares around them.
  32. >You knew that if you engaged the closer ones two you, the other three will start attacking to whatever creature living here. But the missiles would stall them.
  33. >While not killing them, they will receive a quite amount of damage from the missiles, forcing them to remain static and start regenerating their wounds. More than enough time to go personal with the other two.
  34. >Since your gyroscope was energy based, you could actually touch it, tapping two times the center triangle, two perpendicular lines, and holding your finger, you made your finger till one of your objective.
  35. >Repeating quickly the same process for the other two objectives every missile had its objective. Two missiles for each Warrior Type.
  36.
  37.
  38. Fire Mid range missiles. Hold up empty canister ejection.
  39. >While empty, this canisters had verniers you will need to delay your free fall. Once your Ba hit the ground, the Warrior Types would have the advantage, because you can't maintain your BA airborne indefinitely.
  40. >As you see the missiles go away you track their trajectory in your gyroscope.
  41. >But this is not the time to just watch.
  42. Prepare light missiles.
  43. >Going to 60% throttle you do the same procedure from the Mid range missiles, you put one entire canister to hit each of them.
  44. Fire missiles, eject light missile canisters.
  45. >Hearing the ejection, you went full throttle towards the two Warrior Types, seeing at the same time in your main monitor the two volleys going to their designated targets.
  46. > You pass them, and at the same time you do a 270° turn you end in a upside down postion in their rear.
  47. > The missiles impact shortly after, allowing you some seconds to take aim.
  48. Switch two internal targeting.
  49. >After saying the command, you see in the main monitor the two Warrior Types walls going semi-tranparent, allowing you two see the two cores of them.
  50. >A one second burst of your assault rifle for each of them goes through those cores.
  51. Two down, three more to go.
  52. >At the same time, the defeated warrior Types, start decaying and dissolving, disappearing into the air.
  53.
  54.
  55. Show regeneration rate of the remaining ones.
  56. >You can see that  one is about to start moving again. This one seemed to be in a snowed high mountain formation.
  57. >Approaching to it, you can see far in your main monitor your next target.
  58. >Is in the outskirts of a snowed castle....fortress.....something between those two.
  59. Huh.....guess the locals are still in the Medieval Period. Nevertheless...!!!
  60. >Punching once again max throttle, you put your Ba in a ram position, using the right shoulder to charge towards the enemy.
  61. >But a bit too late.
  62. >Just before the impact you manage to see 4 regenerated limbs. Those limbs use your  impact force to grab your Ba and catapult it towards the mountains.
  63. Shit!!! reverse thrust, use all verniers!!!! Oh shit that castle!
  64. > Your feel a great shock through your BA, because you just took out the tallest tower of the fortress, but then again that impact slowed you enough to maneuver again.
  65. Check for life signatures in that part of that castle. His owner will be really pissed. And even more pissed if someone was in that tower.
  66.
  67.
  68. >You sigh in relief when your Ba confirms that there where no life signs in that tower, and at the same time see many white dots with the tag "Unknown" in the basement or the fortress.
  69. >No time to rest. You can see in your monitor that the Warrior Type is charging towards you.
  70. >But in a shot distance, it will gain almost no speed.
  71. >Extending your left manipulator you grab it just before impact, while you fire with the other manipulator a one second burst.
  72. >Target killed and decaying.
  73. >You toss whats left of it to a cleared spot outside the the fortress.
  74. Only two more.
  75. >Switching again to your tactical map, one more was in the verge of fully healing, this one seemed to be near a valley with a single mountain in the end of it.
  76. >Since this is a high mountain yo can keep a semi free-fall towards to your next target.
  77. >Gotta keep saving fuel and energy.
  78. >Almost 2 minutes at 50% throttle your approaching high to your target. Now this seemed like a different civilization.
  79.
  80.
  81. >In the mountain there was a huge White castle, supported by a base in the edge of the mountain.
  82. >This castle.....is almost like it was  taken from a fairy tale, or described in a fantasy novel.
  83. >Three tower with a golden finish in the top conformed the main building. The top of them was shape like those antique buildings in the Russian sector back on Earth.
  84. >You had never seen such level of refined details converged in only one building.
  85. >This civilization was something else, obviously a different one and a one far more advanced.
  86. >A small river went from the top of the mountain, through the middle of the castle, and in the egde it formed a waterfall.
  87. >And below the base there was a huge city, with appeared to be composed 3 and 4 stories buildings, distributed in an arranged pattern. Maybe a capital city?
  88. >This sight was quite majestic to you.
  89. >Except for the Warrior Type above that castle. And its about to move.
  90. >With no missiles left, there's no other option to catch its attention.
  91. >Aiming very carefully you fire smalls bursts you get its attention. Now this is your type of fight, close and personal.
  92. >Trying to ram your Ba, you out maneuver him by a grasp. Another burst and there goes one tentacle.
  93. >But he's not giving up, launching towards you, he morphs two other tentacles into lances, he is going to impale your Ba if you don't do something.
  94. >Killing the verniers from the shoulder missile pods, you lose some altitude fast, at the same time you thrust your leg and rear verniers to max to keep hovering, firing a long burst to the Warrior Type.
  95. >You are not aware that you are now hovering in the castle main yard.
  96.
  97.
  98.
  99.
  100. ---------------------------Celestia's POV------------------------------------
  101.
  102. >You are Celestia
  103. >And its another beautiful day in Equestria.
  104. >The sun shines through the horizon (thanks for you hard work moving it), and its bathing your little p0nies.
  105. >Another normal day in Canterlot if you ask.
  106. >Today's Royal duties are the same as always. Subjects from far and wide your kingdom come to your castle seeking your advice, other for economical or political matters.
  107. >Although a bit monotonous, its part of your royal duties, royal duties that you happily take care of.
  108. >Hearing a p0ny from the High Class family talking about the "excesive" taxes that his company has to pay when docking his ships in Manehattan.
  109. Your arguments are pretty valid, but those taxes are used to improve the living of p0nies that don't have the luck of being a successful merchant, as well as improving the infrastructure of other developing towns.
  110. >You can almost hear him mumble about he doesn't want to share.
  111. .....???
  112. >You could hear something. Although you weren't quit sure what it was. Some kind of explosion?
  113. >Not only you, but all the p0nies in your throne room as well. You could sense everyone of them is getting tense because of that sound.
  114. >But it sounded so far, and it was a repetitive sound.
  115. >Maybe somep0ny in Canterlot is trying to make a new kind of firework.
  116. >But then again, maybe not.
  117.
  118.
  119. >There it goes again!
  120. >But it goes silent as fast as your hear it.
  121. >Now this requires some investigation.
  122. Everyp0ny I'm afraid I will have to cancel all audiences for today. Guards, escort this gentlecolt to the entrance and explain to the ones that are waiting for an audience, that urgent matters came to me.
  123. Please also, go an wake up my sister.
  124. >As soon as the throne room is vacated, you start walking to your personal chamber, whatever was making that noise, you would be able to see it from your personal chambers.
  125. >Walking between two guards, you reach the hall that lead directly to your room, you can see another guard rushing to you.
  126. >His face...was different. Pale, extremely pale. Like if he had just returned from Tartarus.
  127. >When he finally reached you, he was so tired he couldn't speak.
  128. >This can't be good news.
  129. >"The.....The.......hhhhhgggg....."
  130. Calm down and take deep breaths. You have all the time to tell me your report.
  131. >"S-Sorry....your highness, but ..... the sky!"
  132. The sky?
  133. >"I ...just can't explain it, but you must hurry an see the sky".
  134. >Maybe Discord managed to escape from its stone prison, again.
  135. >After hearing this, you rush for your private balcony inside your chamber.
  136.
  137.
  138. >You have lived for thousands of years. Have seen all kind of creatures and monsters. Even been in an ethereal plane.
  139. >But none of those prepared you for what you are seeing now.
  140. >You are there, standing along side with three royal guards in your private balcony.
  141. >All of you with a wide open mouth. Trying to digest what you are seeing above the castle.
  142. >Two flying monsters fighting each other.
  143. >One apparently made of metal, with 4 limbs and slim gray body, emitting blue fire from its back, and its shoulders? It also has a .... magic rod......firing these tiny fireballs in its front hooves.
  144. >This creature reminded you of those other creatures that disappeared to another land when you were just a filly.
  145. >The other creature has a large spherical body, surrounded by tentacles. This one is a more feral one, you could only imagine this is a demon that managed to escape from the Tartarus.
  146. >But wait a minute. Why are they fighting? Did the metallic one escaped from the Tartarus again?
  147. >No it can be, at least for the metallic one. His movements are more controlled.
  148. >Even at some point....refined maybe? There was no doubt its movements followed some kind of logic.
  149. >Now they are really closing into the castle.
  150. This will not end well.
  151.
  152.
  153. >The metallic one is dodging  the attacks of the round one only by a grasp.
  154. >Oh no the metallic one seems to be wounded ,it is falling.
  155. >Falling straight into the garden below your private balcony.
  156. >Oh it just stopped above the roof.
  157. >Now its magic rod its firing, but something seems to be falling from it.
  158. >Just immediately large metallic cylinders start to fall all over the garden.
  159. Guard! Send someone to check Discord's Statue! If its damaged he can take this chance to escape.
  160. >"Yes your highness!"
  161. And Guard....no matter what if you hear someone in your head, don't follow his command.
  162. >With that just said, only one guard makes it out of your room.
  163.
  164. -------------Main character POV---------------------
  165.
  166. >This is not good, almost no ammo in the mag, and reloading will probably kill you.
  167. >Ok you need some distance and pronto.
  168. >With your free manipulator, you grab on of its tentacles and throw it upwards in an attemp to have some space and time to get a clean shot to the core.
  169. Oh right.......daggers!
  170. >Yep daggers, as soon as it stop in mid air it open its mouth and strart firing them.
  171. >No problem , just go to the right a little and.....
  172. Wait.....buildings? A golden dome? Oh crap, I fell for too long and I'm above the castle?
  173. > Checking quickly your surroundings , you are above the main garden, so moving aside could get killed anyone below you or inside that building.
  174. Deploy frontal shield!
  175. >The green energy shield forms in the front of the BA, but its intensity is lower.
  176. >You can see in the main monitor that it is not fully recharged, not even 40% recharged, and its energy its falling.
  177. >But moving its not an option.
  178. >The daggers start impacting in the shield, bouncing off and falling at a lower and not mortal speed into the garden.
  179. >You know that thing can't launch its daggers indefinitely, but who would last longer? Your shield or him?
  180.
  181.
  182. ---------------------------Celestia's POV------------------------------------
  183.
  184. >Know the situation is quite dangerous, with that metallic ....thing, and lets leave it like that for know, is floating just above your balcony after throwing that monster into the sky.
  185. >And you where right because that monster is launching some pointy things towards your castle.
  186. >Your horn starts glowing in preparation to make a shield large enough to protect yourself and your guards.
  187. >Or so you hoped.
  188. >PL:"Mnnn...sis why did you wake me up at this time of the day......what is that above the garden"
  189. >You see a half sleep Luna rubbing her eyes with her hooves. And that makes you loose your concentration.
  190. Luna hit the floor!
  191. >You're waiting the inevitable to happen.....but it never happens.
  192. >You turn around and see the metallic thing with a deploy magical shield in front of him, bouncing of those pointy things.
  193. Oh thanks heavens! Luna stay beside me!
  194.
  195. >PL:"O....ok"
  196. >This....this metallic thing is actually protecting your castle, your p0nies, but more importantly it just saved your dear sister... whatever it is, it has your gratitude.
  197. >Now it seems its shield is fading little by little.
  198. It is getting tired, maybe we should help him, don't you think Luna?
  199. >PL:" Umm....sis?"
  200. >You turn to see the metallic thing. It has some of those things impaled through all his body.
  201. >And he fires his magic rod again.
  202. >The monster starts convulsing. And it has holes all over its body.
  203. >And then....it starts dissolving in the air. Like when a pile of ashes is blown away by the wind.
  204. >But the metallic thing drops a black metallic box from its magic rod, and puts a similar to what its seems replace the empty one.
  205. >Then you feel a great gust of wind.
  206. >You can't keep your eyes open. Its like being in the top of a very tall mountain.
  207. >You can hear that the metallic thing is going away.
  208. >When you manage to open your eyes, you can see it is headed towards the Everfree Forest.
  209.
  210.
  211. -------------Main character POV---------------------
  212.
  213. >Your main monitor warns you that the shield is about to collapse. And probably get some minor damage in the frame of your BA.
  214. >The real danger is that one of the daggers get through the joints, taking out a manipulator.
  215. OK so its a endurance challenge, you will lose pal.
  216. >A few seconds later the shield collapses, and daggers start damaging your BA.
  217. >Flashes through the monitor indicate no more than minor damages to the outer lays of your Ba's armor.
  218. >You could actually hear them , like haling crashing into a mirror-shield.
  219. >And then silence, it can't produce more daggers.
  220. I win.
  221. >Taking aim, you empty the magazine in the core. The gray coloring of what lefts of it indicates its been defeated.
  222. Only one more.
  223. >Switching once more to your battle map, you could see the last Warrior Type inside a forest not too far way.
  224. >You full throttle onto that forest, and you have to be quick. The shoulder pods are almost out.
  225. >Not to mention you can't deploy your shield again.
  226. >Better reload your assault rifle.
  227. >You now only have 3 mags, one in the rifle an two spare ones. Better make every shot count.
  228. >After a few minutes your only inches above the forest. Those shoulder pods are almost dry.
  229. >You can also see a small village in the outskirts of the forest.
  230. >Better take this last one here, than letting him go into that village.
  231.
  232.
  233. >In the center of the forest you see it. 100% Regenerated.
  234. >Making short burst you try to hit him. Who knows? maybe you'll get a lucky shot into the core.
  235. >Although all this trees will act as a natural cover for it.
  236. >More an more bursts and you have only managed to take out some of its tentacles.
  237. >And this is getting better.
  238. >You are almost out of the forest.
  239. >Also you get a warning in your main monitor. Your shoulder pods are empty. Goodbye airborne capability
  240. Eject shoulder pods. Deploy ground maneuver tracks.
  241. >With these tracks, you can actually outmaneuver the Warrior Type....well only if you managed to keep him in the ground.
  242. >And you have to be careful of your main power. After all this abuse you have put into your BA, you're down to 35% of main power.
  243. >You get out of the forest, in the outskirts of the village.
  244. >Is that Farm? No, this is not a farm, it seems to be an orchard. Well better keep the fight here.
  245. >If you don't, the village is doomed.
  246.
  247. -------------Twilight Sparkle POV---------------------
  248.
  249. >You are Twilight Sparkle
  250. >And its another normal day in P0nyville
  251. >The sun simmers above the town in a warm but pleasant day.
  252. >Spike is still snoring in his bed. Since its a lovely day he can sleep a little bit more.
  253. Well better start practicing Teleportation magic.
  254. >That's right. You have been practicing the last couple of days, trying to make the spell quiker, and at the same time go to farther places.
  255. >First some warm up. You focus your mind into your living room.
  256. >After some seconds a purple aura engulfs you, and there. You make it instantly to your living room.
  257. >This training is starting to show results.
  258. OK lets try it on more time....
  259. >Or so you think, you hear a loud an repetitive knock at your. You could almost think that those are punches instead of knocks.
  260. >RD:"Twilight!Twilight!Twilight! You there!? Come out, quick! Come out! Come out! Come out! You have to see this!!!"
  261.
  262.
  263. Geez....relax Rainbow Dash....I won't have the new Daring-Do book until next week. And yes, you will be the first one to have it.
  264. >You open the door to see a really shocked Rainbow Dash. This is the first time you see her like this
  265. >RD:"I don't care about the new Daring-Do book....well not now, but maybe later.....Arrgh....just look at the sky!!!!"
  266. >She walks you out of your library and raises your head towards the sky with her hooves. You see Canterlot at the distance.
  267. >And tiny fireballs on top of the castle. And two dots, that appear to be fighting each other.
  268. >You want to move, want to scream, but you can't.
  269. >You can't because you are seeing something that you haven't seen in your entire life.
  270. >One of the dots seems to start disappearing. And the remaining one is going towards the Everfree Forest at a speed I'm sure Rainbow Dash would only dream to have.
  271. >After flying above the forest, you can see the top of the trees shacking, some of them going down, and more of those fireballs coming out of the forest.
  272. >And it keeps coming closer and closer.
  273. >You can see p0nies looking from their windows. P0nies in the street shocked as you not moving at all.
  274. >Then you realize something.
  275. AppleJack! Rainbow Dash we have to go to AppleJack's farm and warn them. Lets go!
  276. >You gallop through the town, hoping Applejack and her family are all right.
  277.
  278.
  279.
  280. -------------Main character POV---------------------
  281. >Reloading your third mag will maneuvering through the orchard, damage reports keep coming and coming through your main monitor.
  282. Crap, almost out of ammo an this shit doesn't gives up.
  283. >You caught a glimpse of your surroundings. Apparently the main house was in the center of the orchard, while you are fighting near a small hill in the outskirts of it.
  284. >You can not cede more terrain.
  285. OK no more choices left.....only one thing to do.
  286. >You charge against the Warrior type. When you feel the impact, you use the legs of your Ba to halt some tentacles in the ground, while trying to take the remaining one with your free manipulator.
  287. >You did it! It is struggling mad , but its no use, you only have to aim.
  288. I win, you will never do anything to this pla-
  289. >Yuo see for a brief moment one free tentacle, going right to your cockpit.
  290. >Then you only see red. An only 2 of your 3 monitors working.
  291. >An pain, incredible amount of pain below your left arm.
  292. >You don't need to be a genius to figure out what happened. The Warrior type impaled that tentacle into you cockpit.
  293. >With the main monitor one you can't finish your job, because you can't see your target.
  294. Gggggaaaaah........B-blow....Blow main hatch.......retract main monitor.......
  295. >A portion of your cockpit is ejected, and you can see the Warrior Type's mouth....trying to bite you.
  296. >Also, it is still trying to escape from the grasp of your BA.
  297.
  298.
  299.
  300. >With no other way to aim than your sight, you guide your rifle to the target, slowly.
  301. >The pain, to blood inside your helmet, and the more than obvious blood loss is making it very difficult.
  302. >Focusing with all your will power, you wait for it to try to bite you once more.
  303. >And then.....you empty all your magazine in it. A 2 minute burst.
  304. >But you dont have time to waste. While it is still decaying and dissolving, you grab a survival kit below your seat.
  305. >While with your right hand you apply pressure to your wound.
  306. >You just drop down your damaged machine, to hit the ground with your shoulder.
  307. >No time to lose. You take off your helmet.
  308. >Finally no more recycled air.....with a minute when did you run a scan about the atmosphere composition?
  309. >Whatever, you don't need that scan anymore because you can breath in this planet.
  310. >Opening your survival kit, you find inside your omni-tool. A high-tech multipurpose tool, shaped like a vambrace, with 3 small screens, and lots of other useful gadgets, like a radar, holo-projector, and more importantly a first aid program.
  311. >You put it in your left arm, and taking a wire with a small probe in the end of it,aiming to your wound, you push a button in you omni-tool and a triangle like make several passes above it.
  312. >You just grunt and groan while it finishes assessing your wounds.
  313.
  314.
  315. > After another eternal minute you see a screen of your omni-tool coming to life and it said:
  316. Wound Assessment Complete.
  317. Diagnostic:
  318. -> Severe lacerations in the spleen. Massive blood Loss
  319. -> Left lung collapsed, several deep lacerations confirmed. Bone Splinters confirmed. Massive blood Loss.
  320. -> Several broken ribs.
  321. -> Several main arteries compromised.
  322. -> Blood loss in critical level
