Chapter 5

I sit there on the couch, half asleep, listening to Mrs. Brown Pony read out loud some little book about a blue truck or something.

 

It wasn't too bad, honestly. Did you know it goes beep-beep?

 

At least, it was perfect until I heard the door open. A beige-ish pony with a medium-ish mane, sort of styled, but not so much, I guess.

 

I'm assuming this one is the 'dad'.

 

"Hiya" I try to say, but again, little babbles and whatnot.

 

He looks to his left, and sees me. A little weird, I guess, but he smiles. Instinctively, I smile back, as well as give out a little giggle.

 

He goes up to me and messes up my mane. He doesn't say anything, and just goes off to somewhere else in the house.

 

Mrs. Brown Pony turns to me and smiles. "That's your daddy! Isn't it exciting?" She plays with my two front hooves as if im waving them. I can't help to laugh at that, that's pretty cute, man.

 

I nodded happily. Daddy came walking out from the back of the house. He was wearing this light blue hoodie, which I think is pretty cool.

 

I distinctly hear Titus Andronicus playing somewhere in the background as he's walking in, though. Maybe it just fits him.

 

I clap my hooves together and giggle. He sits down next to me pets and my mane.

 

He turns to his wife and kisses her on the cheek.
