  1. >You're shocked to hear this news
  2. >What could it mean?
  3. >Does she blame you for corrupting an element?
  4. >Surely she'll understand that you're the victim here, right?
  5. >Either way, you don't really have a choice in the matter
  6. >Twilight agrees to come with you, for protection, to the train station
  7. >Spike satys to watch the library
  8. >The letter came with a ticket from Ponyville to Canterlot
  9. >One-way
  10. >But that didn't mean anything, Celestia could just get you another ticket back to Ponyville after you were done meeting with her
  11. >It didn't mean anything
  12. >You kept telling yourself this as you walked to the train station
  13.
  14. >After a brief walk, you and Twilight arrive
  15. >Its still relatively early in the morning, so not many ponies are there
  16. >You pass the tellers without a glance, which earns you odd looks from them
  17. >You find a bench on the wooden terminal, and sit down with Twilight
  18. >Neither of you say anything
  19. >She knows what this could mean for you, as do you
  20. >Finally, your train pulls up, and about three ponies depart from Canterlot
  21. >You don't move
  22. >After a few minutes, the whistle blows
  23. >You stll don't move
  24. >You hear a pony shout
  25. >"All aboard thats comin' aboard! Last call for Canterlot"
  26. >You reluctantly stand up
  27. >You step over to Twilight, and say goodbye, before hugging her
  28. >You don't look back as you board the train
  29. >You find a seat, and try to keep your mind on other things as the train starts its long journey to Canterlot
  30.
  31. >After about ten minutes, the rhythmic chugging lulls you to drowsiness, and you drift off to sleep
  32. >............
  33. >You wake up in one of your living room chairs, in your apartment on Earth
  34. >Everything is still fuzzy as if it were a dream
  35. >You know now that somehow, in someway, your dreams of real life and your Equestria life are somehow connected.
  36. >The foreshadowing flash-forwards of being tied up, the wrist wounds.
  37. >Hell, you didn't notice it before, but Fluttershy's guest bed was an exact replica of your bed from here!
  38. >You decide that this time you'll bring something with you as evidence, to convince your Equestria self that this is eality and Equestria is not.
  39. >You've gotta find something fast, you're never here for long
  40. >You walk into the kitchen
  41. >What can you grab?
  42. >You spot a old pretzel container filled with shiny coins
  43. >The change jar!
  44. >You stuff your hand inside and grab a fistful of pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters
  45. >You hurriedly stuff them in your pockets
  46. >Just in time, as a familiar wave comes over your body, and your eyelids shut seemingly on your their own
  47. >The last thing you hear is a train whistle before you wake up.
  48.
  49. >As usual, you sit up forcefully upon waking up
  50. >The movement causes a slight metallic jingle to come from your pants pocket
  51. >It worked!
  52. >You root around in your pocket and produce a handful of spare change
  53. >You've never been happier to see less then a dollar in change in your life
  54. >You look around, and notice you're alone on the train
  55. >Out the window, you see the train has stopped, and a sign reads
  56. >"Welcome to Canterlot!"
  57. >Well, here you are
  58. >You decide to only bring a few coins with you, they make a ton of noise everytime you take a step
  59. >You choose one penny, one dime and one quarter, and then depart the train
  60. >The rest you leave in the crack of your seat
  61. >Hopefully nop0ny would notice
  62. >You set off down the paved road towards the Royal Castle
  63. >maybe if the meeting goes well, you'll tell Celestia about the change and the dreams and what not.
  64. >You have no trouble finding the castle
  65. >Its the biggest structure in Canterlot
  66. >In about five minutes, you're standing at the main gates
  67. >You show the unicorn guard your pass (which was included in Celestia's note), and wordlessly, he opens the gates and leads you in
