- >Day speech therapy in Equestria.
- >You are Anonymous
- >And you have been spending the better part of a month trying to fix a certain obnoxious blue mare's speaking perspective.
- >Unfortunately you've made little to no progress.
- >Sure it's possible to force her speech, but without you're influence she just falls back into her previous state.
- >Luckily you've got one last trick up your sleeve.
- >The door to your house opens with a slam as a set of hoof steps trot across the wooden floor.
- >You don't even bother lifting your head up.
- "It's open, come in."
- >"Trixie does not appreciate your attempt at humour," she says as she sits herself on a couch opposite you.
- >"And since you said this is our last lesson Trixie would appreciate it if this went by quickly."
- "Eight seconds in and you've already thrown everything out about what you learned last time," you sigh as you lean back in your chair.
- "Alright well, as I said, I have one last technique to try out. It's something I learned by no other than your old pal, Twilight Sparkle."
- >The blue mare is visibly angered by your information.
- >"Twilight Sparkle!? What does that hack have to do with Trixie?"
- "I thought we agreed to be nice last time?"
- >Trixie simply 'Humphs' at your comment.
- >Reaching back, you take a sheet of paper form your desk and begin scanning it.
- "She was even kind enough to write a list of all the steps we have to take. Are you ready to begin?"
- >Trixie nods in affirmation.
- >You smile slightly as you clear your throat.
- "Step one, stop being such a mule."
- >"WHAT!?" the reaction is instantaneous, as she is almost literally fuming.
- >"Trixie demands to see this paper!" she says as she tries to magically steal it from your grip.
- >Standing up from your seat you take one long step towards the mare and lightly flick her horn.
- >As she recoils from the sudden interaction you waggle your finger in front of her face.
- "Ah ah ah, thats not how you ask for things Trixie, try again," you say as you sit back down.
- >If looks could kill you're sure your house would be on fire right now.
- >Gritting her teeth, the mare attempts to compose herself.
- >"Could you show me that piece of paper before I tear your arm off?"
- "I'm actually pretty comfortable here, so if you wouldn't mind just walking over..."
- >You swear you hear a lion growl as Trixie gets up and loudly stamps her hoofs when she slowly makes her was over to you.
- >Trixie leans over your arm to get a good look at the list.
- >"I-its blank..." she muttered.
- >Here it comes...
- >"YOU CALLED TRIXIE A MU-!"
- >Before she can finish her screaming you quickly reach over and lightly scritch at her left ear.
- >The effect is immediate as her eyes lids begin to flutter and her eyes begin to roll to the back of her head.
- >"Oooh~" she coos as you continue your assault.
- >And then you pull your hand back and everything stops.
- >Trixie sits there, dumbfounded for a moment before she speaks up.
- >"Did I say you co-"
- >She cuts herself off with a hoof to her mouth.
- >She stares at you and you smirk back at her.
- >"Trixie demands to know how you did that!"
- "Did what?" you ask innocently.
- >"Trixie was talking 'properly' without thinking about it! How did you do it?"
- "What...this?" you ask as you lean over and scritch her ear again.
- >She immediately turns to putty in your hand.
- >"Mmmnn~" she moans as she attempts to lean into it more.
- >Once again you pull your hand away, and you swear you hear her whine when you do so.
- >The mare attempts to recompose herself as you lean back in your seat.
- "Well now, looks like I have some leverage now."
- >Giving you a confused look she turns to you and speaks up.
- >"Trixie does not understand what you mean by leverage."
- >You can't help but smirk at her naivety
- >This doesn't help settle the worried mare any though.
- "What it means my dear Trixie, is that if you start listening to me, and you get 'rewarded'."
- >Trixie instinctively gulps at this.
- >"And if Trix-...I don't listen?"
- >Leaning forward in your seat, you make sure you are face to face with the mare.
- >Ever so slowly, you reach your hand out to her ear, but hold it less than half an inch away.
- "Then I guess we find out just how good you are at self control."
- ***
- >For the next half hour, you begin revising all the topics that Trixie had struggled with previously.
- >With every piece that she got correct, she was rewarded with one of your patented ear scritches.
- >But for whenever she would refuse to listen you would tap just the very tip of her ear and then immediately pull away.
- >Eventually you both found out that she wasn't very resilient to your method and was being unusually attentive and cooperative.
- >You quickly came up with a new system so that for every consecutive exercise she got right you would scritch a progressively sensitive spot on her ear.
- >Even with all this you still left her constantly wanting for more.
- >She had to have some discipline.
- >"Mmmmnnnnn~" she purred as you scritch the very base of her ear.
- >Unlike the others, you continue your assault for a few seconds longer than normal, before slowly tracing your finger up to the tip.
- >"Awww~" she whines as your finger pulls away from her.
- "Well I don't know about you, but listening to you talk for this long is making me hungry."
- >Trixie frowns at you before lightly hoofing you in the arm.
- >"I thought you said not to be mean," she huffed.
- "Relax, just a lighthearted joke, anyway, we may as well put this theory into practice, so lets go get some lunch.
- >"Very well, Tri-...I will allow you to accompany me for lunch."
- >You simply roll your eyes and begin heading to the door.
- >The effects of your method were starting to work, but it would still take some time.
- >After some uneventful walking, the two of you make it to an empty restaurant and take your seats.
- >You just finish skimming through the menu as the waiter comes to take your orders.
- >As expected, Trixie orders hers first.
- >"Tri...ahem...I will have the daffodil sandwich."
- >You look up at her expectantly and the waiter begins writing the order.
- >Trixie quickly realizes her mistake and hastily adds a "please."
- >Once the waiter finishes writing the order he turns to you.
- "I'll just take a milkshake thanks," you say as you hand him both menus.
- >The waiter nods and trots back inside.
- >You do a quick scan to make sure there is no one around.
- >When the coast is clear you quickly lean over and scritch at her ear again.
- >She leans into it for a moment, then quickly pulls back and blushes.
- >Quickly looking around her she turns back to you and whispers, "Not in public!"
- >The waiter quickly returns with your order in tow and places them down on the table.
- >He bows before leaving the two of you to your meals.
- >Let the games begin.
- >As Trixie hungrily munches through her sandwich, you make sure to make as much noise as possible with your shake.
- >It doesn't take long for the effects of the noise to set in.
- >You begin seeing the tell tale signs.
- >Her ears flop, the slightest of frowns and her eye's twitch.
- >In not time she's going to-
- >"TRIXIE DEMANDS THAT YOU STOP THAT INCESSANT NOISE MAKING!" she yells as she slams her hoofs on the table.
- >You immediately stop the slurping and look her dead in the eye for five seconds.
- >Then you begin making noise again.
- >You can almost hear her teeth grinding form where you are sitting.
- >She takes a deep and recomposes herself.
- >"Would you please stop making that noise before I shove that straw so far down your esophagus that you'll be eating through it for the next year."
- >Slowly removing your mouth from the straw you smile as you look back at her.
- "See? Was that so hard?"
- >Trixie huffs at you and continues with her meal.
- >Its not long before both of you have finished your food.
- >When you are both done Trixie goes to open her saddlebag up, but you quickly stop her with a raised hand.
- "It's alright Trixie, I've got this."
- >"What? Bu-"
- "Not buts, this was my treat," you say
- >You quickly rummage through your pockets and pull out enough bits for both meals and a tip.
- >Once its done the pair of you leave the small restaurant.
- >You only take a few steps out before you turn around to face the mare.
- "Well Trixie I guess this is it," you say with a sad smile.
- >The blue mare looks at you, confused.
- >"What do you mean by 'it,'? she asks.
- "Well as I said to start with, this was our last lesson, and it officially ended about an hour ago."
- "So now we go our separate ways, I wish you luck with your shows Trixie, goodbye."
- >You begin to walk off but you are quickly halted by Trixie's yelling.
- >"Wait!"
- >Spinning around to face her you see she is wearing a sheepish grin on her face.
- >"I..well...do you think you could...that is to..."
- "Use your words Trixie."
- >"Shut up! What I mean is that...do you think we can...umm"
- "You want to give it another week?"
- >"YES!" she yells, a bit too loudly, "Umm, Tr-...I mean yes."
- >You walk over to Trixie and ruffle her mane a little.
- "Alright then, we'll keep going with the lessons, I'll see you tomorrow then, alright?"
- >Trixie nods meekly, then quietly adds a, "Thank you."
- >You return a smile, then turn around and make your way back home
- ***
- >Minutes later you're lying down, relaxing on the couch, letting all your inner thoughts run their course.
- >As expected, its not to long before there is a knock at the door.
- "I don't want what you're selling!" you yell from your comfortable position.
- >You hear the door creak open and realize it's started to lightly rain outside.
- >"Very funny, don't you ever get tired of those jokes?"
- >You turn your head to face the purple intruder, known commonly as Twilight Sparkle.
- >Smiling at her, you shift slightly so that she joins you on the couch.
- >"How was she?" Twilight asks as she get comfortable.
- "Yeah...we're finally making progress but..."
- >Twilight sighs sadly.
- >"I know you don't like using 'our thing' on her, but its for her own good, I want her to be happy."
- >Shifting to a more upright position you lean in closer to her.
- "Want to know what I learned today?" you ask with a sly smile.
- >"Mmm, what is it?"
- >Leaning in even closer you whisper in her ear."
- "She's a lot more resistant than you."
- >Twilight's eyes widen as you begin your trademark assault on her ears.
- >"Oooh Anon~" she coos as the effects take place.
- >She's become more used to this treatment however and quickly overpowers you, forcing you on your back.
- >As you lay there she moves herself on top of your chest.
- >Both of you look into each other's eyes for a moment before locking into a deep kiss.
- >You run your right hand along her ear and you feel her shiver on top of you.
- >Before you go any further however there is a loud bang at the door that echos through the house.
- >Twilight quickly bolts upright to look at it.
- >"What was that?" she asks as she turns back to you.
- "It was nothing, let's just..." you attempt to pull her back down, but she hops off you before you can get a hold of her.
- >"A bang like that isn't usually 'nothing' Anon," she tutts
- "Great, cockblocked by a door..." you mutter under your breath as you get up to follow her.
- >Twilight creaks open the door as you stand behind her.
- >The rain seems a lot heavier now.
- >Both of you take a look outside but see nothing there.
- >Wait.
- >Just off to the side of the door is a bouquet of roses, sitting neatly.
- >You reach over and pick them up, inspecting them.
- "Odd..."
- >"Who are they from?" Twilight asks as you turn them over.
- "It doesn't say, there's no note or anything."
- >You take one more glance outside before shutting the door, stopping the rain from coming inside.
- >What you didn't see was a certain blue unicorn hiding behind a tree.
- >Her tears silently mixing with the rain.
