"Finally" you say as you take a seat at the foot of your bed >You gaze up at the noose you've prepared for a few minutes >You're life has been all downhill since you've lost your job and gf left you shortly after >Unpaid bills began stacking up on your doorstep and depression has been settling in >You knew there were better ways to handle this, but you wanted to believe there was a better life beyond all of this >You drag the nearest chair, and lift yourself up. >After taking one last look at your surroundings, you stick your head through, tie it tight and kick the chair letting sleep finally take you. >... >... >... "Errugh" >Your vision is hazy as everything slowly comes into focus >Grass? Trees? >You found that you were at the edge of a forest >The ground is warm and soft as you lay there blissfully on your back with the hot sun beating down on you >You go to stretch your arms- "The hell?" >What you thought were your arms were two green, furry stumps >You quickly roll over to find that your legs were replaced by two identical green stumps >Panic begins settling in as you back up into a tree "Shit, what the actual fuck." >You were all green with a jet black tail and hair you can see over your shoulders >None of this made sense, then again neither was killing yourself in the first place >You snap out of your daze and look off across the ocean of tall grass >You were given a second chance >You've been walking for what seems like forever >The afternoon sun is dehydrating you faster than you thought and your tiny legs did not get you very far. "Fuck, I'm done" >You toppled over on your side out of breath >That voice though, it was way higher pitched than your normal one. >You look at your crotch once again to confirm that you really did lose your twig n' berries in this life >Yep, nothing >As you lay there, you begin hearing two voices moving towards you. >You jump back on your feet...no...hooves now and take cover behind a nearby bush. >Peering through a small gap you see a purple pony with a darker shaded mane holding up a piece of paper. >The second one had a yellow coat with a bright pink mane who was scanning the area >Were they lost? >"Fluttershy, you search the left half of the valley and see if you find anything" >The yellow one nods and begins walking in your general direction >Shit nigger, wat do? >You quickly move into bush you were hiding behind. >The yellow horse, or Fluttershy, as the purple one called her, stopped for a moment before reaching into her backpack >As she was doing this a group of woodland critters huddled around her >She smiled warmly and dropped a bunch of food >"I hope we find what the Cutie Map sent us here for before it gets dark." >Seeing all that food is reminding you that you haven't eaten in forever and is making your stomach rumble >Oh shit, I think she heard that because she's now looking directly where I'm hiding. >You recoil and shade your eyes from the sun as she pull back some of the branches. >"Eeeep! Who are you?" "Uhh-uh-uh" >You stutter out as your eyes shift and right. "I'm Anon..." you mumble >"W-what are you doing out here?" >She picks you up by your front hooves and sets you down in the open again "I-I don't know. I was just here all of the sudden" >"Stay right here, I'll go get my friend." >She gives you a smile and trots off >You felt a little better now and safer too >It was going to get dark soon and you're not sure how you'd survive the night anyway. >"A filly? Out in the middle of nowhere? That's unheard of." >You hear Fluttershy talking with her friend, the purple pony as they get closer. >Both of them stop a few feet away from you >"Hi, my name is Twilight. How did you get all the way out here, and do your parents know you're here?" she says in a concerned tone. >Shit what the hell do I say? It's not like I can say 'I killed myself and somehow ended here' "I got lost wandering in the forest." >Shit, that doesn't sound very convincing >"You got lost in the White Tail Woods? We're miles away from the nearest town." >She begins eyeing you suspiciously >"...but it is getting late and the forest is no place for a filly at night. Where do you live?" "Uhh east?" you say thinking of a random compass direction >"You live in Ponyville?" >You nod >"I've never seen you around before." >Suddenly you feel something slide down your nose >You move a hoof to wipe away the liquid only to find that it's blood >Oh shit >Your vision begins going fuzzy again and you start falling to one side >... >... >... >Darkness >You feel weightless as you float through the void >For once you truly felt at peace >You look down and out of nowhere the sky and ground below you begins materializing >As the last bit of blackness fades, you drop like a rock falling towards the valley below >You shield your face as you get closer expecting it to somehow mitigate the incoming pain >You begin stirring and immediately jolt forward >You are greeted by the waking world once again except this time you're in a bed >A really comfy bed you might add >You always enjoyed sleeping because it was the one time you felt safe >Things are different now >You look down to see- yep you're still a horse or rather a filly >How did you get here again? >You can't completely remember the events of yesterday aside from fainting >By the looks of your room, you assume you're in a castle or palace >Everything is so pristine and priceless and...made of crystal? >You jump out of your bed and walk over to the window with some difficulty >Everywhere you looked, there were colorful equines in a small rustic village >The sun began rising over the hills and you rub your eyes to make sure you're seeing shit clearly >You take your hooves off the window sill and walk over to the door >You still can't get over the fact that you're a filly now after being human just two days ago >Wait, "hu-man"? >Why does that term seem foreign to you? >Actually, you don't seem to remember much from before two days ago other than that you've been living in the forest for the past seven years... >No, certainly there's more to it >You try remembering hard to see if anything comes back >All you remember is seeing a rope tied in a loop hung from a ceiling >You're nose begins bleeding and you feel your memory getting cloudy again >What the hell is going on? >You place your hoof under your nose to stop the bleeding before exiting the room >You carefully look to your left and right and see that the two directions go fairly far before curving >You begin walking left passing many doors and banners with a strange star-shaped symbol on them >Damn, none of these doors are marked >Where the hell is the bathroom? >You decide to stop and open one of the doors only to discover that it is a broom closet >The next...another bedroom >And...a storage pantry >The blood from your nose is starting to flow over your hoof >Fuck this >You find the nearest tapestry hanging on the wall, a picture of two horses, one white the other dark blue, and wipe the remaining blood from your nose and hoof >Shit, that does not look good >You quickly turn in the direction you were headed and pick up the pace a bit >A staircase comes up on your left >Finally, a way out >As soon as you reach the first floor, a heavenly aroma fills your nostrils >You trail it down several other corridors until you reach a kitchen >"Good morning, sleepy-head." said a voice just over the counter >Looking over, you see Twilight making pancakes >Holy shit yes >"Why don't you go sit down, it will be another minute." >She motioned over to the table occupied by someone else >Is that a dragon? >You take a seat across from him feeling a bit awkward >"Hi, my name's Spike, nice to meet you!" >He holds out a hand over the table >You hesitate at first but shake it anyway to hopefully subdue the awkward tension >Twilight walks over with a plateful of pancakes and sets them down on the table >"Dig in!" >Just as you were about to take push a couple on your plate, Spike takes several and immediately starts chomping away >Rude >You take the remaining pancakes and start eating, or at least attempt to seeing as how you don't how to use silverware with hooves >Getting a little frustrated, you begin gnawing at it with your teeth >Twilight joins the both of you shortly after with less pancake mix coating her face and torso >"So, Anon, we had quite the scare yesterday." >You stop for a moment going over yesterday's events in your head >You really couldn't remember much aside from magically appearing in this world and apparently losing consciousness >"We should really find your-" "Fuck no" >Twilight seems taken aback by your interjection >Guess it's not polite for a filly to curse at the table >Or rather not polite for anyone "I mean...can I have a moment to collect moment to clean myself up before we go?" >It's such a shame you have to leave your unfinished breakfast, but you weren't sure how else to diffuse the situation >Fuck, you were awkward as shit back on your world and now you're awkward as shit here >The ride never ends >Twilight nods and points in the general direction of the washroom >"It's down the hall over there, third door on the right." >You speed trot over to the hall leaving a sense of discomfort behind you >You quickly open the door and splash some water on your face >Looking in the mirror, you get a better look at yourself >You really were a green filly, with adorable blue eyes, and a jet black mane "I don't belong here." >As serene as this place seems, you can't explain how you got here or how you have no family >You really didn't deserve this especially after committing the ultimate sin >Looking to your right, you notice an open window >Good thing you're on the first floor >You slowly raise the window to reduce as much noise as possible, and slip out of the castle >Okay, you're in the clear now you just got to lay low for a while as you proceed into light forest behind the castle >You look up at the beating sun and begin to pant shortly after entering the woods >God damn it must be the middle of summer or something >You stop by a pool of water and begin drinking from it >So this is your life now? >You awaken to some rustling in nearby bushes >It is still the middle of the night and your fire-pit has nearly gone out leaving only the moonlight to illuminate the area >Several hours have passed since you decided to forfeit telling the truth to live in the woods >You managed to find a small, dirt clearing somewhat deep in the forest and made a fire as it got dark fast >It's been quite a while since you've last eaten and you're becoming noticeably fatigued because of it >What is any of this even? >No one would have ever expected this shit to happen >And of all the people in the world, why were you given a second chance? >You hop to your hooves expecting something to jump out of the bushes >... >But nothing happened
