>You're on your way to the library. >There's a certain book on the history of Equestria you wouldn't mind checking out. >Maybe you can find some connections between the centaur myth and Twilight's disdain for you. >You know of the violent nature they had. >If Twilight knows the myth, and she probably does, it's more than likely the reason she refuses to accept you. >You have your theories, but there's only one true way to find out. >It's business hours so you just walk through the front door. >Twilight is the one who greets you this time. >She's less than enthusiastic about it. >"What do you want." >Straight to the point. "I'm here to check out a book." >"You already have two books out. You have to bring them back before you check out another one." "Very well. What's the rule about me just staying here to read it instead?" >She opened her mouth but closed it quick. >She tried to think of such a rule. >There was none. >"You may do that." "Thank you, Twilight. I'll bring back those other two books tonight." >She doesn't respond and just walks away. >You'd like to call her something, but your here on a mission. >You walk around the library to try to find your book of interest. >Non-fiction section, H for history, and... aha! >You pull the book from the shelf and look around for a table. >You find one and settle down. >The chairs are too small for you to sit, so you just sit cross-legged on the floor. -- >The book starts with the founding of Equestria. >At first there were three tribes. >The Earth ponies, The Pegasi, and the Unicorns. >The tribes did not care for what befell the others, but only cooperated to sustain their own well-being. >The pegasi controlled the weather in the lands. >In return, they demanded the food that could only be grown by the earth ponies. >The unicorns also wanted food in exchange for magically bringing about the day and night cycle. >A terrible blizzard eventually broke the already unstable peace. >Famine had caused the tribes to migrate to a new land. >They arrived in the same place and began fighting over it. "Interesting..." >You continue reading. >Eventually the blizzard reached out and overtook this new land. >Reading to the end, it was caused by wendigoes who feed of the hatred of others. >The ponies eventually solved their differences and united into a single nation. >Nobility, hereditary rule, a class system, politics with a non-universal vote, militarisation, conquest campaigns, war, a tribute system, territorial conflict, resource domination, famine, dictatorship... >These ponies were no better than humanity! -- >As it turns out, every civilisation has the same problems. >And it looks like they went through a horrible ordeal before they came to realize true peace. >Well there's one thing they have over humanity... >But it doesn't change the fact that you shared very similar pasts. >So here's your theory for Twilight's hostile disposition towards you: >She must view ponies as kind, generous, and, well, all-around perfect. >She must see you as evil, vicious, and a monster. >The two combined into one creature must be what caused their violent nature. >The pony side of them living in harmony before they gave into their human side's savagery and brutality. >But they were not all like that. >Some of them helped out the ponies and even tried to bring unity to their divided clans. >Also, they only turned to violence because they could not farm and over-hunted their lands. >And now you know, that ponies are, or were, anything but perfect. >And also the centaurs were cast out as abominations of nature. >They weren't really given a chance or shown much compassion. >Twilight had wandered over to you. >She was trying to find out what you were reading. >She saw it was the history of Equestria. >"What are you doing?" >You hadn't even noticed her until now. >You jumped at her question, hitting your knees into the bottom of the table. >You cradle your knees in your arms with a hiss. "Ahh... damn it all..." -- >"I said what are you doing." >This time she was demanding your answer. "Yeah, yeah... I heard you." >You slide away from the table and turn to face Twilight, still cradling your knees. "I'm studying the founding of Equestria." >"Why." "Be...cause...?" >"That's not an answer!" "Why do you care?" >"Because I'm trying to find-" >She cut herself off. >She's hiding something. >You stand up, using your size to try and intimidate her. >Now is your chance to go on the offensive. >You crouch down again so you are eye level with her. "What." >"Oh... uh... nothing." >You get close to her face, holding a straight face. "You hate me, don't you?" >Twilight was shocked to hear this. >She could tell from your voice and face that you were serious. >"No Anon... I... uh..." "Are afraid? Dislike? Tell me." >"I am afraid." >That doesn't settle it. "There's more to it than that. I think I know what it is." >She looks at you with a face that just asks "What?". "I assume that you've heard of the myth of the centaurs of Old Equestria?" -- >Twilights jaw dropped. >She was speechless. "Is that a yes?" >"I'm familiar with it." "Then I take it you know them to be 'savagery and brutality incarnate', am I right?" >"Yes." "Now allow me to change the subject quick." >She nods. "How do you view your society? What do you think of the three kinds of ponies?" >"Kind, generous, and peaceful. We all live in harmony." >You thought as much. "All the time?" >"Yes." "Very well. Now back to centaurs. They are evil in every right, correct?" >"Yes." >She didn't even stutter. "So if the pony in them is that of peace and harmony, then the human in them must be the root of their evil, correct?" >She now sees where you are going with this. >She doesn't say a word. >You take note of this fact, but keep pressing. "So if their human side is what makes them evil, am I in the right by assuming you feel the same toward me?" >Nothing. "I see. Your silence says it all." -- >Suddenly she goes on the offensive. >"What does this have to do with anything?" >You keep your bearing. "Simple. You are comparing me to a creature of myth. You have no evidence of my intentions here or of my so called 'monstrosities'." >You caught her off guard. >She isn't very good at arguing. >"Well you checked out that book on myths yesterday, and now you're reading the history of Equestria." "And?" >"What are you planning! I know it has something to do with our past, and I'm gonna find out what! Are you tring to summon ancient creatures?" >You cannot stifle your laugh. >Where did she come up with this? >Did she really pull all of this off the simple fact you read two books? >"What are you laughing at?" "You." >"Me? Why?" "Do you really believe all that? That I'm here to take over the world or something?" >"Well it doesn't hurt to be cautious." "You're a smart mare Twilight, but stupid as can be." >She didn't take too kindly to this. >"Is it true? Did I find you out then? I can't be that stupid then!" >Your lightly facepalm. "Oh Twilight..." -- "Do you really wanna know?" >She stomps her hoof. >"Yes! Tell me your plans!" "I want to know why you hate me." >She recoils. >"I-I... What?" "You say ponies are kind, generous, and harmonic. But that is only half true." >You point to the book on the table. "I only JUST read the founding of Equestria. You say ponies were always peaceful? That's not true. I can reference from that book alone scripts of war, dictatorship, abusive monarchs, and a tribute system." "The earth ponies were made to give up their hard earned food for a little rain and sunshine. The unicorns and pegasi abused them. The blizzard that caused the famine is what finally sparked that war between them." >Twilight can't believe your trying to teach her about her own history. >"You're reading between the lines!" >You don't shout, but slightly raise your voice with an obvious annoyance in it. "It's right there in the text! Are you so ignorant you can't see that?" >"I know my own history. So why are you telling me this?" "To open your eyes, Twilight Sparkle." >She didn't expect that either. >"What do you mean?" "Ponies have the same faults as humans do. Although you have actually been able to solve your differences with a lasting peace. There's one obvious difference." >"What does this have to do with the centaurs then?" "Because you are associating me with a creature of both pony and human creation. One of harmony and violence. You think it was the human that caused it's savage nature, but you refuse to recognize that ponies are just as capable as humans!" "You, Twilight Sparkle, are a bigot." -- >She was absolutely shocked that you called her out on this. >You press on your verbal assault. "You're biased against me because you believe I am the same as a creature that is actually the two of our kind combined. You refuse to recognize the faults of ponies, and only look to prove that of humanity's." >She looked to the ground. >She didn't say a word. "I must also note that they weren't exactly human, per se. It was a nymph that looked humanoid. There is a distinct difference." >You sigh. "I'm sorry." >She looks up at you, tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry if this conversation hurt you so, but it's for the best." >"Why? What good will possibly come of this?" "Because I have now opened your eyes, Twilight Sparkle. Hopefully you see how wrong you are to judge me so quickly. I want to be friends with you some day, but that is not possible if we do not overcome your bigotry." >You pause for a moment. "I also don't want to see Fluttershy's friends divided over why she is in a relationship with an alien." >"Because it's wrong!" "Is it? What about Spike and Rarity?" >That shut her up. >Spike had told you of his crush on Rarity, and how Twilight had known, but never tried to stop his advances. "Is it really that much different from me and Fluttershy?" >She said nothing and looked at the floor. >You sigh. >You get up and walk away from her. >You look back to her one last time. "I just hope you don't feel this way about our children." >Twilight snapped to attention and stared at you as you walked out the door of the library. -- >You feel like an asshole, but it was for the best. >Hopefully now she sees the error of her ways. >And maybe now you can develop a real friendship with her. >A smile crosses your face. "But I totally won." >You laugh at yourself. >You are feeling pretty proud of yourself that you just destroyed Twilight in a battle of logic and reasoning. >But on to more important things now. >You have a date with Fluttershy tonight. >You need to get home and get ready. >As you walk, you think about everything that has transpired this morning. >You served Fluttershy breakfast in bed, proceeded to get shown up by said Fluttershy with amazing breakfast, walked Sweetie Belle to school, got yelled at by Applejack, got money from playing the guitar, sung a duet with Fluttershy, and just now told off Twilight. >There have been some ups and downs. >But all in all, >This day was great! >And there's still the matter of dinner with Fluttershy. >If the night turns out alright, this could very well be one of the best days in Equestria yet. -- >You make it home and call out for Fluttershy. >No response. >She must still be out running errands. >You still have a long time before your scheduled date with Fluttershy tonight. >Time to take the initiative. >You go outside and have a look around. >The animals look like they need to be tended to. >Some food, water, and a cleaning of their pens. >That didn't take you as long as you would've liked it to. >Fluttershy has a small garden growing on the side of the house. >Might as well try your hand at that. >Just pull a few weeds and water the plants. >Once again, your a little aggravated at how quickly you get the job done. >But now your dirty. >There's nothing like a bath to relax and kill some time. >You take your time and get out after about 20 minutes. >Fluttershy still isn't home yet. >You reshave your face and brush your teeth. >No Fluttershy. >There's nothing left to do. >You just walk over to the couch and throw yourself down on it. >Waiting... >What has it been, two hours since you got home? >No Fluttershy. "Maybe she's at the spa." >You look over at Angel who was sleeping in his bed. "What do you think?" >He picks his head up to look at you. >He turns himself around and goes back to sleep. >You look back up to the ceiling. "Yeah I thought as much." -- >Bored... >So bored... "Oh my god this sucks so hard..." >Angel had gotten sick of listening to your constant whining and promptly left the room. >You could practice your guitar more, >But it's all the way across the room... >You could go for a walk, >But it's too hot out. >You could go swimming, >But you just took a bath to get ready for your date. "I need a life..." >Waiting... >Waiting... >You have been home for FIVE HOURS now. >Fluttershy finally walked in the front door. >The first thing she noticed was you sprawled out on the couch. >You were beligerantly yelling the lyrics to a song. >Out of tune as well. "Wouldn't it be nice if we could wake up! In the morning when-!" >"Anon?" "Fluttershy!" >You rolled off the couch and onto the floor. >You then proceeded to scoot your lazy ass across the living room to where Fluttershy was standing. >She stared at you with a puzzled look as if you were crazy. >You grab her hooves and stick your face in the floor. >You speak with the most whiny voice you can muster. "Save me, I'm dying of boredom!" >Fluttershy rolled her eyes at you and laughed. -- >You stop for fake crying and finally look up at her. "Whoa..." >Her eyelashes were curled and she was wearing mascara. >She was wearing lipstick. >It turns out, a little lipstick can go a long way. >And to top it off, there was a large, pink daisy set in her long, flowing, pink mane. >Oh my god she looked amazing. >She was definitely at the spa. "So where were you this whole time?" >"At the spa with Rarity." >Called that like a boss. >But this wasn't their spa day. >They must have made a special occasion for tonight. "I can see that." >You finally get up and kneel down in front of her. >Just in time too. >Looking straight up at her was killing your neck. >"Do... Do you like it?" >She grew nervous, afraid of what your answer might be. >You gently hold her cheeks and give her a soft kiss. >You freeze... >She tastes like cherries... >The things this pony does to make you happy. >If you were keeping score of the things you did for each other, she would be destroying you right now. >That is something that you need to change. -- >You slowly pull back form your kiss and gaze into her brilliant teal eyes. "I love it." >She squeeled with joy and lunged at you to hug your neck. "But I gotta ask something." >She pulled back and looked a little worried. "I thought this was a casual, romantic picnic?" >She gave you a cunning smile. >"This is casual. I'm not wearing a dress, am I?" "Touché." >She's good at wordplay. >Your gonna have to watch out for this one. "But you don't have to do that for me. I think you're beautiful just the way you are." >You brush her hair back. "You don't need to change for anypony. Not even me." >"But I want to. For you." "And I love you for it. But I also love you, for you." >You hug her neck and look past her out the door. >There is a picnic basket sitting on the ground behind her. >She had already packed your dinner... >Chalk up another point for Fluttershy. >She really does do everything for you. >You're beginning to feel a little selfish. >She does all this... for YOU. >And what do you have to show for it? >You will change this. >But it will require something truly amazing. -- >"So are you ready to go then?" >You release her from your grasp. "Yeah I think so." >You follow Fluttershy out the door. >You see her going straight for the picnic basket. >Before she can say anything, you grab the basket. "Allow me." >She smiles and you begin to walk down the path to her house. >Your house. >"Hey wait!" "What?" >"Don't you want to bring your guitar with you?" >You contemplate this for a minute. "Nah. I think I'll leave it this time. Tonight should be about us and not some instrument." >She nods in understanding and you continue your walk. >'He puts aside one of his greatest passions... for me!' >Fluttershy squeeked. >You look down at her. >She has a huge smile on her face. >You smile and look forward again. >'She's thinking of something wonderful.' you think to yourself. >Fluttershy wanted a nice picnic for dinner. >She asked if it could be at night, in a very special place. >How can you refuse? >It was dusk now. >The sun was a large half-disc on the horizon. >As you walked, you watched the sun go down. >The sky was a brilliant orange that slowly transitioned into a brilliant purple before softly fading to black. >The moon was almost dominating the sky.>Fluttershy knew how much you love the night. >This picnic was a great idea. >Her idea... >Wow, you love to make yourself feel bad, don't you? -- >You push it out of your mind. >Tonight was about her. >You want to try to make this the greatest night of her life. >But what can you possibly do? >Who knows what she put in that basket. >Whatever it is, she sure is confident that you will enjoy it. >It's a 20 minute walk to your spot. >The tree where you first met. >You should probably come up with a name for this place. >Holding a special place in both of your hearts, it was only right. >But that can wait until later. >You set the basket down and open it up. >The blanket was resting on top. >You grab it and lay it out on the grass. >Fluttershy is digging through the basket as you do. >She pulls out a red rose centerpiece. >She places it on the blanket and rummages through the basket again. >This time she pulls out a three-branched candelabra and placed it next to the centerpiece. >She placed a candle in each slot. >You watched with an unbreakable focus as she went to light the candles. >She was using some wierd pony-adapted zippo lighter. >Whatever it is it worked. >You now had a candlelight setup underneath the tree off first contact on a cloudless night. >Awesome. -- "Wow Fluttershy, you really went all-out tonight." >She became slightly embarassed and blushed. >"Thank you, Anon. I really want to night to be special." "I do to, Fluttershy." >You smile and speak in a playful manner. "But you're making me look bad." >You laugh and she giggles. >You walk over and help her pull out the various dishes she has packed for your meals tonight. >The first thing you pulled out was a small chocolate cake. >It had chocolate frosting and had red frosting letters spelling out "TO THE BEST OF FRIENDS". >"Pinkie Pie made that. I told her about the duet this morning." "Remind me to thank Pinkie tomorrow." >You set it off to the side. >Fluttershy pulls out a regular salad. >That must be her meal. >There's one last plate in the basket. >You can't believe your eyes when you pull it out. >To think such a thing was possible would've sent you into an asylum. >For what Fluttershy had packed for your dinner... >Was a thick... juicy... >STEAK?! "Oh my god..." >You started drooling over the plate in your hands. >Fluttershy grew worried. >"Is there something wrong? Do you not like it?" "No, Fluttershy... It's just... HOW?" >"I have many carnivorous animal friends, Anonymous. All I had to do was ask." "But... aren't you afraid? Afraid of my craving for red meat? Or disgusted by me for hunting other animals?" >Fluttershy placed her hoof over your mouth to silence you. >She gave you a soft kiss. >"I love you for WHO you are, Anon. Not WHAT you are. And I told you before, I know all about carnivores." >You let this sink in. >You stare at the plate in your hands. >A tear of happiness falls from your cheek. "I love you Fluttershy." -- >Fluttershy is thoroughly pleased to see that you appreciate this gift so much. >She grabs her own plate and sits next to you. >"Let's eat." >You look at her and nod. >You undo the plastic wrap and the smell hits you. >It was indescribable, but you love it so much. >You search the picnic basket and... >No silverware. >Crap. >You're gonna have to eat it with your hands, but not be a total animal about it. >You look over at Fluttershy who is calmly enjoying her own salad. >You're surprised that the smell doesn't bother her. >If it is, then she's ignoring it to make you happy. >What a wonderful girl. >She is the one pony who understands you. >Who fully accepts who you are. >Every flaw, every difference, and everything that could potentially destroy her friendship with the others. >She will risk everything for you. >As will you for her. >You take small bites and chew slowly. >You savor every second and chew for as long as possible before it slips down your throat. >Your eating with your eyes closed. >This meal is pure ecstasy, and you intend to make it last for as long as possible. -- >You lost track of the time, but you just now took your last bite. >You almost cry a little as the last piece slides down your throat. >That was the last steak you will have for a while >And just like that, it's gone. >You sigh and pat your stomach. "That was... just amazing..." >You look over at Fluttershy. >Her head was tilted, her eyes were closed, and she had a large smile on her face. >She was watching you eat. >She had finished her meal and patiently waited for you to finish yours. >She never said a word. >She grabs the chocolate cake and goes to cut a slice. >You put your handon her hoof before she does so. "May I?" >She looks at you and releases the cake knife from her hooves. >"I just want a small piece, please. You can have the rest." >You cut her an eighth from the small cake and place it on a plate. >You hand it over and place it down in front of her. "No thank you. I'm not a very big fan of sweets." >You cut yourself an equal piece and plate it. "We can always take the cake home for later." >Fluttershy nods. >You scoot closer to Fluttershy and throw one arm around her. >With the other, you feed yourself. >Fluttershy bends down to eat her slice from the plate. >She picks her head up and looks at you. >You cannot stifle a laugh when you look at her. >She crosses her eyes to focus on a large dallop of frosting on her nose. >You gingerly reach out and wipe the discretion from her beautiful face. >She giggles and licks the frosting from your finger. -- >Wow, you can't believe that steak didn't leave any taste on your finger. >Or maybe the frosting was covering it up pretty good. >When you each finish your dessert, you pack up the remainder of the cake and stow it with the dirty dishes in the basket. >You lie down next to each other and stare into each others eyes for several minutes. >Fluttershy looks even more amazing in the flickering candlelight. >The shadows fall across her face in such a way that the bright moon seems to illuminate her eyes. >Glowing teal eyes at night? >Awesome. >You get the idea to blow out the candles and enjoy the night sky. >You roll over on your backs. >You put an arm under Fluttershy's head and you move close. >Neither of you say anything for a while. >It's just you, the cool night air, and the beauty of space. >Fluttershy whispered to herself. >"Princess Luna sure does some great work, doesn't she?" "Princess Luna?" >Fluttershy snapped up and stared at you. >"How do you not know of Princess Luna?!" >Her jaw looked like it was about to fall off. "I don't know. Should I know about her?" >"If you love the night so much, yes you should." >You turn to face Flutteshy and lie on your stomach. >You rest your chin on your crossed arms. "So teach me." -- >Fluttershy begins her story. >"Princess Luna rules Equestria alongside her older sister, Princess Celestia. Princess Luna is in charge of raising the moon at night and making the constellations in the sky. Princess Celestia is in charge of raising the sun." "So I have Princess Luna to thank for the amazing stars? Very well. Please continue." >"Princess Luna grew jealous of her sister when she noticed that everypony played during the day, but slept at night. She felt that nopony appreciated her efforts." "She is wrong. She should notice the few who do rather than the many who don't." >"Well, one night, she ultimately decided to to leave the moon in the sky. Celestia was furious and after a brief battle, Luna was banished to the moon for a thousand years." "What? Why would Celestia do that! That punishment is way too severe for a simple act of jealousy!" >You are really getting into this. >"Luna's anger stewed throughout her banishment. It eventually corrupted her and twisted her into the being we called 'Nightmare Moon'." "So then what happened?" >"Nightmare Moon returned with the intention to bring about midnight eternal." "That actually doesn't sound bad to me. Seeing her work, I think I could appreciate that." >"Well, she was defeated through the use of The Elements of Harmony, the six aspects of friendship." "She was defeated with the power of friendship?" >"Yes. But instead of destroying her, it removed the corruption from her soul. She was transformed back into little Princess Luna again. They rule the skies together to this day." "That's a truly inspirational story Fluttershy. I really feel for Princess Luna. Celestia took that small outburst of Luna's was too far. Did she even try to talk sense into her?" >"I don't know, Anon. But it's all over now." >She points a hoof to the sky. >"And here is her beautiful canvas to share with us." -- >You roll back over and gaze back up into the heavens. >That was pretty deep. "I would love to meet this Princess Luna someday." >Fluttershy looks over to you. >"Nightmare Night is coming soon. Perhaps you can." "That would be awesome. But I have a few bones to pick with that story." >You sit up and face Fluttershy. "Where I'm from, the Earth revolves around the sun, and the moon around the Earth. And it happens naturally. No magic involved." >Fluttershy doesn't understand how this would even be possible. >"Are they alive?" >You don't know everything, but what you do know, you don't feel like explaining. >You settle with just gravity. >Fluttershy shakes her head at the thought. >You remember reading in the history book that in ancient times, the unicorns magically moved the sun for the earth ponies. >But if these two princesses are over a thousand years old, how old is Equestria? >And where did these two... (demi-gods?) princesses come from? >Fluttershy did not have an answer for you. >You settled back in and enjoyed the view. >A star fell across the sky, and you made a wish. >You wish you will never be parted from Fluttershy again. >And that you can spend the rest of your lives together. -- >After a long silence, Fluttershy spoke up. >"Anon?" "Yes?" >"This morning, when we sung our duet..." "Yes?" >"Did you mean it?" "Of course I did. Every word of it." >Fluttershy shook her head. >"No, what I mean is..." >She looked pretty embarassed. >"Would.... Would we... ever make love?" >'Oh my god...' >You didn't give her an immediate response. >You just lied there quietly. >It's not really that bad. >She suggested having children with you the night before. >You even revealed to Twilight about your plans for children in the distant future. >And you looked Fluttershy straight in the eye this morning and mentioned your love making. >You truly love her with all your heart. >Pony or not, this was far beyond her physical appearance. >For force yourself to remember your promise from earlier. >You love her for her. >Not because she's a pony. >Not because of the things she does for you. >But because she is just like you. >She truly loves you back. >And you would sacrifice everything you own for her. >Everything. >Even at the cost of your very life. >She begins to whimper from your silence. >You have stayed quiet far too long. -- >In one swift motion, you rolled over and pounced her. >You pinned her on her back and engaged in a deep, tender kiss. >You finally broke after your bodies forced you apart. "Yes." >Fluttershy stared at you in shock. >She was so afraid of your rejection, she had come to believe it. "Yes I would." >"Oh Anon..." "You know I would give everything for you. I would even gladly lay down my life to see you and our children grow and prosper." >Tears filled her eyes. >She started weeping furiously. >A few tears leaked from your eyes as well, but you held back the cascade that was building behind them. "I love you Fluttershy." >"I love you too Anon." >After another long kiss, you decide it's time to pack up and go. >Fluttershy agrees and you get off her. >You grab her hoof and pull her up. >She helps you fold the blanket and throw the candelabra into the basket. >You pick a single rose from the centerpiece before you put it away. >You run it under your nose and sniff it. >You smile and hold it out for Fluttershy. >She takes it in her mouth and chews it in delight. >One little flower. >A simple but powerful symbol of love. >The simple act of giving a lady a rose can spark wonderous things. >Moments that you will remember for the rest of your days. -- >When you finally return home, you kick off your boots and place the basket in the kitchen. >It was really late now. >Fluttershy was lagging from the walk home. >But this night is not over yet. >Without a word, you pick up Fluttershy and carry her to her room. >You lay her down on the bed and walk around the other side, laying down yourself. >Fluttershy moves to lay on top of you. >You share a deep kiss. >Without any words at all, she slowly pulls up your shirt. >With a little help, you slide your arms and head through, and she throws it to the side. >She fumbles with your belt buckle. >Her lack of fingers makes it very difficult. >You chuckle and unbuckle it for her. >You undo your pants as well. >She slides them down and you kick them off. >You pull off your socks as well, leaving you with just your boxers. >The ultimate act in a lovers' relationship. >Fluttershy was about to give you her innocence, and you to her as well. >This decision was made easily enough. >You ask one last time before your lives are forever changed. "Are you absolutely sure?" >She nods her head and meets you with another kiss. >And with that, the moon appears to be shine ever brighter. >The room is illuminated and you can see Fluttershy's beautiful face once again. >The moonlight makes her teal eyes almost illuminate. >It's as if they are their own dim light source. >Fully exhausted, you fall asleep in each others arms. >Fluttershy still laying on top of you. >You hold her tight, as to prevent her from falling off. >Even in your sleep you are able to keep a firm grip on her. >Another star appears in the sky that night. >It shone brighter than all, second only to the moon. >It was a testament of yours and Fluttershy's love. >Against all odds and against all hate, you have persevered. >And now you finally have something to show for it.
