>A'Nown remained in darkness for many years >Just thinking, contemplating >He would get bored if he would just look out with the view of the statue >He was bound to it though, and soon he desired release >A collector pony walked into the mountains with his team >He had gotten a tip that something was here; that the strange tales of the pony lost in the mountains were true and that the mysterious idol in them lay in this mountain range >He was a scholar and collector, and this statue would no doubt be an important piece of his collection. >He instructed his miners to began the arduous digging >He would find this damn statue, his pride depended on it. >The diggers set up camp >They had several tents, all being funded by the collector >He was in his large tent, not to be disturbed >Pouring over a few scattered letters and leaflets >The mare who had gotten lost up here so many years ago was long since dead, but the tale had not been forgotten >It was not the most well known p0ny's tale however, and thus there wasn't too much information about it. >Where exactly it was in the mountain was very hard to pinpoint >But when he saw the area, he had a strong hunch >One night while digging, he soon finds out his hunch is correct >One worker screams out >Everyone comes over >He's shaking, in shock after uncovering the last bit of stone >He just uncovered the thing's terrifying face >He's dragged off to the medical tent "...Damn superstitious laborers. No matter, I'll dock his pay every day he keeps up the ridiculous fit." The collector said before returning to collect his prize. >Down in the hole was the statue >Looking up, staring >The Collector smiled nervously >He walked down to the statue and inspected it >The workers stayed away, standing back >They were still scared of this thing >After the quick inspection, the collector reached out a hoof and stroked the statue >He felt the strange, slimy sensation even though the thing was completely dry >He then cleared his throat "Alright men, get this statue out of here!" >The workers don't move >They don't want to get near it >The Collector sighs >He pulls out a white sheet and drops it over the statue "Now, get this out of here and onto the wagon." >The workers are still nervous but it seems they are no longer as afraid of it >They get down and slowly move the statue >They hear the p0ny who was terrified by the statue earlier start to scream from the tent "That's... strange..." The collector said to himself, before overseeing the move to its completion. >The workers quickly got the statue on the wagon >The sheet was kept over it, but it still stood ominously "Alright boys, back up camp. We leave at dawn." >The workers groaned but walked off to their tents for some sleep >Nobody got any sleep that night >The next day, the collector checked on the statue >The sheet was still in place, everything was fine >Then he looked in front of it >In front of the statue was a spider >It seemed to be bowing of some nature >Then it did something unexpected >The spider seemed to lean forward and bite off one of its own legs >After a quick shake, the leg fell off, it really did it >It kept doing this, biting off its own legs in a little pile >After about a minute though, it seemed to slow down and stop, it was dying >Soon, it laid dead >The Collector blinked nervously and left it alone, getting his crew organized >Soon, they were off. >The wagon traveled down the road >It had a roof over it, to protect the goods within >The crew alternated between walking alongside the wagon and pulling it >The collector sat in the driver's seat of the wagon and seemed to pour over his notes while another laborer did the real directing >Not that much was needed >Soon, they saw a lone figure walking up the road towards them >It was a p0ny but it was wearing a ragged cloak and seemed off >They prepared themselves for this stranger >The stranger kept coming closer and closer >The crew became on edge >Once he got close, he kept going >The whole crew watched as he just kept walking by, not talking or stopping >In fact, he didn't even say hi, which is rather rude >They shrug and keep going >Later, a crew man runs up to the collector "Hey boss, we're leaking!" >The Collector stops the cart and gets off the driver seat "Shit, we're losing water?" "Uhh... Not exactly..." >the Collector looks at the back of the cart >He sees a trail of blood >It was coming from the wagon >He gulped and slowly opened the back curtain >The sheet was gone >The statue stared out malevolently >Before it, thousands of dead bugs and a few rats >They had all pulled off their own limbs and the blood had seeped through the cracks of the wagon, dripping onto the road >The crew looked over this sight without saying anything, just walking in place nervously >A p0ny approached the Collector "Boss... let's just leave this thing... This is bad." >The collector stopped staring at the statue and whirled to face the p0ny "No! This must be added to my collection! I paid good money for this!" he said, fuming >the p0ny looked at him concerned "Money ain't worth being dead, boss." >The Collector shouted and screeched at his crew, and soon they all looked at each other and started to walk away >All of them >The collector was alone >The collector fumed >He was too stubborn to leave >He began to push and pull the cart himself >Little kept him going other than his stubborn nature >He soon found himself in a forest >While pulling the cart up a hill, the reign suddenly snapped and the cart rolled away >It rolled off the path and into the woods a little ways >Not too far away, but not too close to the path either >The collector screamed and ran after it, and once it stopped he hoped inside and looked at the statue in disgust >He was ranting, slamming his hooves against the wooden floor of the cart "Is this what you want!?" he screamed, frothing and foaming >Soon, he was convulsing so hard in anger and hatred >He suddenly felt a sharp pain in his mouth >Then, he screeched out, blood flowing from his mouth >He had bitten off his own tongue >The slimy thing laid at the feet of the statue >He spit blood out, some of it landing on the statue >when the blood touched the statue, it seemed to just slide off it, pooling beneath the thing's feet >The collector ranted and raved, but he couldn't speak anymore without his tongue >He soon laid at the feet of the statue >He began to see his vision blacken, and he was finally scared >He tried in terror to fight back, but the pulling sensation only became stronger "I'm going to add you to my collection." >He screamed, but no sound came out as he was pulled into horrid darkness. >And there, the statue stood. ------------------------------- >A'Nown took in his cosmic sights >He felt around and yawned, looking over what he had done so far >In the massive slurry of his conciousness, he looked at what he had gained thus far >A three-headed dog monster and a tongueless loony >also a little blood and some animal parts? >Not much, he'd have to step up his game >A young filly walked to school slowly >She hated school, everyone always made fun of her >She was an Earth pony, but she wasn't any stronger then the Pegasus or Unicorns in the class >She had one passion: Art >But she was fucking terrible at it >The little filly walks into the classroom >She sits and waits >Nobody talks to her >Eventually she gets out some paper and starts to draw >Using her mouth, she takes several minutes to draw a picture of herself >After that ordeal is over, she looks back, satisfied >A unicorn that sits next to her snickers "What!?" She cries out at her >The unicorn smiles and takes out her own paper >Her horn glows and the pencil flies across the paper quickly >She finishes the drawing in less then ten seconds (flat) >It looks better then the Earth p0ny's drawing >She starts to cry and the unicorn laughs >She runs out of the classroom and then runs home >At home she throws herself on her bed and cries for a little while >Soon though, she calms down and does something strange >She prays. >Praying was an ancient, died out p0ny tradition >The tribal p0nies did not understand Celestia and Luna when they first arrived in Equestria and took command >They originally thought to them as gods, and that praying to them would allow them to hear the calls of the mortal p0nies >They dispelled those rumors quickly, but it is still remembered and done on rare occasion >She wasn't expecting a response as she spoke to herself in her head >She asked for guidance, and for... revenge. >She jumped back as she heard a voice "Hello, Child." >She looked around her room, but there was nothing "Who- Who are you?" "I am A'Nown. I am here to help you." >She smiled "You... you heard me?" "Yes Child. And I will help you." >She smiled with glee, how could her luck get any better? >The little filly asked the voice how to enact revenge >The voice spoke "All you have to do, to make anyone you hate disappear, just draw a picture of them and leave it on the porch." >She giggled and got to drawing >It took her over an hour, but soon she had a decent picture of that awful unicorn from her class >She nodded and waited until after dinner >After dinner, she went outside, and placed the drawing on the porch >She put a rock over it, so it wouldn't blow away >She then went to sleep, happiest little filly in the world >The next morning, she went outside and found that it was gone >She smiled with glee and got her things before walking to school >She sat at her desk and waited >The little unicorn wasn't there >She couldn't stop her joy when the teacher walked in "Hello class. Today-" >Suddenly the door opened "Sorry I'm late everyp0ny!" >It was the unicorn >The little earth p0ny fumed >Why didn't it work >She screamed out in her head at the voice, and soon it spoke "I'm sorry, Child. I forgot to tell you, it won't work unless you sprinkle some blood on the paper." >She was so mad she didn't even care >She just got through the day and stormed home >After doing her homework and such, she waited >Finally, it was time >She poked herself with a knife she stole from the kitchen and sprinkled it on the paper >Just then, she heard a noise >Looking at the window, she saw a monster standing not to far away! >She screamed and fell back, her paper flying across the room and sliding into a pile of other papers >She ran back to the window but the thing was gone >She went over to the pile and grabbed the paper back >She then put it outside on the porch and placing a rock on it again >She went to sleep, thinking it better work, or else she'd make that dumb voice pay! >The little filly woke up early that morning >She went outside >The paper was gone again >She smiled with glee, her problems must be over >She went back to her room, but noticed something >Her parents door was open >Looking inside, she saw it empty >But the window was smashed and a tiny amount of blood was on the sheets "Mom? Dad?" >There was no answer >She rushed into her room >She checked the pile >The drawing of the unicorn was still there >She had put the wrong picture >She suddenly looked around confused, scared, and terrified >She desperately tried to find her parents >But she never would. "Voice! Voice! Take it back! I take it back!" >It was silent, then the voice spoke again "I'm sorry, little one. But my pet does not like to share..." -------------------------- End Part 2
