Part 1: The Train Ride >The suburbia landscape flashes by before your eyes >The hum of the train car vibrates the seat beneath you >The soft touch of a head on your shoulder breaks your stare >You reach out instinctively and wrap your arm around Rose >She rubs her head against you and starts to stare out the window as well >It has been 4 months since that night on the roof >Between school, work, and planning a wedding your plates been full >But some of that has just changed >You finally have your degree >It has been a long time coming >Now you just need to figure out what to do with it >You have some ideas, nothing concrete yet >You have a feeling though that you want to get out of the city >You have been discussing the idea with Rose >She agrees that it would be nice to get out into the country >She never did seem like the city girl type >But that’s not the reason for this train ride >You mind drifts back about a month ago >You and Rose were discussing the wedding >Mostly you were discussing the guest list >You had both decided that it should be a relatively small affair >Only close friends and family members >She was talking about her friends that would attend “Let’s see, Lilly and Daisy are at the top of the list.” “Perhaps Lyra also.” >”I’ll probably have Rob be my Best Man, he’ll bring Lyra as his date” “Excellent, I don’t have much in a way of family. What about you Anon?” >”Huh?” “I was asking about your family, anyone that you want to invite…” >You were hoping to avoid this as long as possible >Maybe even make it through the wedding without including them >But it looks like it’s time to face the music >”Nope, no family.” >Rose gives you a strange look “Don’t lie Anon; I have heard you talking on the phone to your mother plenty of times.” “You also frequently ask about your father and sister.” >Right, fuck… gotta dodge this >”They all live pretty far away; they won’t be able to make it…” “Anon… what’s wrong, you know that I know that you used to live just outside of the city…” >You really need to stop digging yourself a hole “Maybe we should go visit them before the wedding… so that way you can introduce me…” >Terrible Idea >”I don’t think that’s the best idea, we are pretty busy as it is.” “But you’re almost done with school, we could both use a nice vacation way to relax, meeting you parents would be nice also…” >You’re not going to escape this very easily >Maybe just telling her the truth… >”There’s a reason, why I don’t want you meeting them, or them at the wedding.” “Oh, are you sure? I think that they would love to see their son get married” >”It’s not that, I’m sure they would love to see me get married” >You swallow hard prepping yourself the next bit >”You see my parents aren’t as… open minded as some humans.” >Rose gives you another strange look “What do you mean Anon, do they hate ponies or something?” >”Oh no, they don’t hate the ponies, it’s just that…” >You take a pause >”My parents are really religious.” “I still don’t follow anon, what does their religion have to do with us getting married?” >”Everything…” >You get up and walk across the room and pull open a drawer >You reach inside and pull out an old leather bound book >The golden letter on the front of it identify the books name >The Holy Bible >You walk back over to Rose and start flipping through the pages “What book is that Anon?” >”This is the Bible; it is a religious text that hold the history and laws of the Christian faith.” >”My parents religion.” >You start reading several verses from the Bible >All of them that you quote deal with the consequences of relations between man and beast >You finish and look at Rose >”My parents believe this unquestionably. They think it’s a sin.” “Ok, but from what I understand, that was written a long time ago” “They would have no idea that an intelligent pony race would come to Earth.” “Besides, I bet they were referring to the animals of this Earth.” “I am not exactly from here, am I?” >She playfully snuggles her muzzle against your cheek >”You have that right, but my parents don’t see it that way.” >”I still remember a conversation with my mother about people who were just dating ponies.” >”She had a few choice words to say on the matter.” >You sit with Rose quietly for a time “I still want to meet them, and want them to come to the wedding.” >”I know, but I don’t think I can change their opinions on the matter.” >Rose gets a devious smile on her face “I have an idea Anon…” “Tickets, tickets please!” >The sound of the conductor’s voice jolts you back to the present >You quickly find your tickets and hand them to the conductor >That’s why I’m here >The plan was to visit with your parents for a few days >Your sister was also staying with them >It was also so convenient >You would show up and present Roseluck as a close friend >You would then try and convince your parents about your intentions >Sounds simple enough… >What could possibly go wrong? >You sigh as you continue to stare out the window >Everything that’s what >But honestly what is the worse that could happen >Your parents shun you; call you a horsefucker and prune your branch from the family tree >Maybe you could recruit some help from your sister >She, like you, was never big into religion >Plus being the stoner that she is >She is open to all kinds of new ideas >Right? >You sigh again >”This is a huge mistake…” >Rose tries to reassure you the best she can “Don’t worry; everything will turn out for the best.” >”I know, I just am still worried about what my parents will think” “Anon, I know you want your parents to accept out engagement.” “But, why should you be worried? Even if they don’t approve, you still have me?” >That thought does bring a smile to your face. >That is all that you have to remember >No matter what happens over the next few days >At the end you will still have the mare you love >Those thoughts hang in your mind as the brake for the train engage “Last stop everybody! Welcome to Fox Grove!” End of Part 1 Part 2:Hometowns >The train slowly rolls into the station >You get up and first help Rose out with her saddle bags >You collect the rest of your things and disembark the train >Fox Grove, been a long time since you’ve been here >While this isn’t your home town, you did spend a good majority of your time here >This being the next biggest town and the only once with a grocery store and a movie theater assured that. >The place hasn’t changed a bit >You take a look around looking for your sister >She was supposed to be here right around now >You sigh, she is probably late, again >Most likely she got high and forgot the time… >Might as well show Roseluck around the local scene while you wait >”Looks like my sister is going to be late. Let’s get something to eat. I know a great local dinner.” >Rose looks up at you and nods and follows you into town >The local diner isn’t far from the train station >“The Crossing” is just like you remember it, filled with a bunch of old railroad stuff and little toy trains >You walk in and sit yourself down at one of the booths >A familiar looking woman walks up to your booth >You recognize her as a childhood friend >You smile politely >”Hello Amy” >She is shocked that you know her name >She stares at you for a second “So, anon, you finally come back for a visit.” >She turns to Rose “And you brought a friend” >She shakes her head “Why am I not surprised…” >What is that supposed to mean… >”Nice to see you to Amy, just two salads please.” >Amy walks off, you can’t help but notice that she stops and whispers other waitress behind the counter “Who was that Anon?” >”She was an old High School friend. We will probably run into more of them while we are in town” >Another reason to get out of here >You check your phone, nothing from your sister yet. >You quickly shoot off a text asking her where she is >You turn back to Roseluck >”So what do you think so far.” “I like the small and cozy feeling of the town, it’s nice.” “There’s just one thing, I haven’t seen very many ponies since we left the city.” >She is right of course, you just came to realize the besides the ponies who got off the train with you; you may have only seen one maybe two other ponies. >It makes sense though, most ponies lived in the cities. >But that was unicorns, most earth ponies should be out her >But this is a far cry from the country >Maybe very few ponies settled in small towns like this >The vibration from your phone interrupts your thoughts >You check it, it’s a message from your sister ‘Sry bro, brt. :)’ >Thought so… >Your food arrives a few seconds later >After a nice quiet meal and a little wait your sister walks in through the door >Your sister Sam, she’s about a foot shorter than you with blonde hair and blue eyes >Most guys would call her a babe >But you see her as your younger sister, you being two years older >You get up and give her a big hug >Your nose is assaulted by a familiar aroma >Your sister never ceases to amaze… >”Good to see you Sam, how are you doing” “Just fine Anon, sorry I lost sense of time.” >As she pulls away you can’t help but notice her eyes are bloodshot >”Yeah, I wonder how that happened…” >She laughs a little too hard at your joke. >She stares past you at Rose “So, who’s your pony friend?” >Your sister walks over to Rose and kneels down in front of her >”This is my friend Roseluck; Roseluck this is my sister Sam.” “Nice to meet you Sam.” “Nice to meet you too Rose.” >Your sister holds out a hand and Rose lifts her front hoof to shake >you pay the check and follow your sister out onto the streets >Parked in front of the restaurant is your old truck >”Glad to see you taking care of my truck.” “I needed some way to get around, besides you were off in the city at college.” >You throw your bags and Rose’s saddle bags into the truck bed before climbing into the cab >”I’m driving Sam” “Aww, but I’m perfectly straight Anon.” >”Right… my truck, I’m driving” >She huffs and tosses you the keys >Rose climbs up beside you and your sister sits in the passenger seat >The cab is pretty packed >Thankfully it’s a relatively short drive back to your house >You try your best to drive in the cramped positions >Your sister and Roseluck start talking “So what do you do for a living Sam?” “Oh, some here and there jobs, I’m currently going to the community college for classes” “That sounds nice, what are you going for?” “Dunno.” >You sigh and shake your head “So, Rose whats your “special talent”.” >She actually uses air quotes “Oh, I grow all different kind of flowers and sell them. My favorites to grow are Roses.” “Do you also grow herbs?” >Oh no, not that direction >”Sam...” “What? I’m taking an interest on your friend’s natural talent with growing things.” >”No” “College changed you bro, you used to be so laid back, I remember a time where you would ask the same question…” >You immediately blush “What does she mean Anon?” >”Nothing Rose, my sister is just trying to dig up some old skeletons from my past.” >Rose leans her head against your shoulder >You appreciate the closeness >Until the thought that your sister is in the car comes to your mind >You quickly glance over at your sister who seems to be preoccupied with the passing landscape >Thank god for stoner concentration >You eventually enter into the township of Spring Lake >A significantly smaller town than Fox Grove >Spring Lake has a school, a post office, a gas station, and a small general store >A few farms on the outskirts >At least that’s what you remember of it >Since you’ve been gone some of the farms have sold their land to housing developments >Spring Lake is now only slightly smaller than Fox Grove >All it is missing is a movie theater and a train station and they would be roughly equal to each other. >You remember the way home like the back of your hand >You eventually arrive at your childhood home >A smallish house >It has a living room, kitchen, basement, and a second floor with a bathroom and three bedrooms >A nice house >Quickly get out and start unpacking the car >Your sister charges up to the house and inside >Knowing here she’s going to hide her stuff >You slowly walk up to your childhood home with Rose >When you enter the house your sister charges down the stairs with a big smile “I’ll let Anon show you around, I’ll be in back if you want to chat later.” >Note to self, don’t let Roseluck go to the back alone >You give Roseluck a quick tour of the house >When you come to your room you pause >The last time you were here… >You opened the door >Yep, like you feared it’s exactly the same >Posters for video games and comics cover the walls >A bookshelf filled with sci-fi books and graphic novels on one wall >Oh god, I was such a geek through high school >Roseluck follows you into the room >She a quick look around and turns to you >”I know, its looks really geeky, but I can explain…” “It does, but it’s your life. Plus, I like it.” >You smile, how did you get such a great mare >Time for some bad news. >”Until I tell my parents about us, it might be best if we don’t sleep together.” >She looks hurt by this… “I understand…” >”I’ll make it up, I promise.” >She starts to leave and looks back at you “Oh you will, am I sleeping on the couch then?” >Before you can answer you hear the sound of the front door opening >You swallow hard because you know what it means >Your parents are home… End of Part 2 Part 3: Dinner with the Rents >You leave you room and make your way downstairs >As you come insight of the front door you see your mother and father standing there >Your mother, slightly shorter than you with black hair. She looks young for her age, 51. >Your mother never competed high school; she has always help odd jobs. >She was a cleaning woman for a while, eventually she got a job as a cashier at one of the local supermarkets. >She has always regretted never finishing high school. She tries to keep a clean house and enjoy yard work and gardening. >Your father, slightly taller than you with blonde hair slightly receding. A tad older than your mother, 53. >He completed high school and some college. Never put any of it to use and got a job with Comtech, a computer repair company. >He retired before you left, he now works part time as a mechanic down at a local garage. >You rush over and give them both a hug “Glad to have you home Anon” “Good to see you son, how has college treated you?” >”Glad to be home mom, college was fine dad, just glad it’s over.” >The sound of approaching hoof steps interrupts the reunion >You turn around and notice that Roseluck is standing behind you, smiling politely >You smile back at her >You father coughs a bit >”So, who is the pony?” >”Mom, Dad, this is Roseluck. She is friend of mine from the city.” >Your Dad only nods >Your mother on the other hand walks forward and kneels down before Rose >”We don’t get many ponies out here, there are very few that moved here. It’s nice to meet you Roseluck.” >Your mother and Roseluck shake hands/hooves >Around this time your sister comes in through the kitchen >She looks a little surprised to see your parents home “Mom! Dad! How was the trip to the store? I’ll be right back!” >Your sister immediately runs upstairs >Your mother shakes her head and your father sighs >Both of your parents know about your sisters “habit” >You really don’t know how, but she somehow got them to believe that she does it do deal with anxiety >You hope that you can use that to your advantage when it comes time to tell you parents about you and rose >But for now you are left standing in the living room with your parents and Rose >Someone needs to break this silence >You pat your stomach >”How I didn’t realize how long of a day it’s been, whats for dinner mom?” >You mother chuckles at this comment “You haven’t been home for four years, and the minute I walk through the door you want something to eat, you haven’t changed Anon…” >You shrug slightly “Dinner will be ready in a bit” “Actually do you mind if I bring your pony friend along with me?” “I have never cooked for a pony before.” >You wonder if it would be the best idea to leave them alone together, but Rose interrupts your thoughts. “I would love to help you in the kitchen Mrs. Mous” >You watch as Rose follows your mother into the kitchen >Which leaves you… >Alone, in the living room, with your father >You turn to your Father and put on a bright smile >”So, what do you want to hear about first? College or just life.” >Your dad walks over to the big easy chair in the corner and sits down and starts watching T.V. >He turns back to you “Sit down Anon, and relax, your home now.” >You give a nervous smile and take a seat on the sofa. >While dinner is being made by your mother and Rose, you and your father catch up >You tell him about college and how great it was to finally get a degree >He asks the same question everyone asks about your plans now >You ask him about how work down at the shop is >He complains about how idiotic people can be with their cars >Overall it is a good chat getting caught up with your father >You are thankful that he doesn’t ask any questions about Roseluck >You don’t know how you would answer them. >Before long you start to smell the aroma of food come from the next room >You sister comes bounding down the stairs soon after >Exclaiming how hungry she is >You chuckle to yourself as you, Sam, and your father all make their way into the kitchen >The table is crowded with 5 people seated around it >You glad that you and Rose are sitting next to each other >Your mom brings big steaming pot of vegetable stew over. >You also notice a plate of meat sitting on the table >You look over at Rose and motion towards the meat >She shrugs and shakes her head >You mom takes her seat and then looks around the table “Anon, please say grace.” >You groan slightly, it’s been awhile since you have done this >You bow your head and close your eyes >Everyone follows suit including Rose >”Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for this meal that you have provided for us. I also thank you for helping bring my family and friends together so we can enjoy this meal with each other. In our saviors name we pray. Amen” >Your mother smiles over at you “That was great Anon.” >Your mother then quickly changes the subject to Rose “So tell me Rose, how did you and Anon meet?” >Oh god… “Well when I arrived here, I found myself in a dumpster, your son saved me.” “Oh, my son is such the hero!” >Ok, so far so good “You two seem to be pretty good friends” “We are, we are currently roommates” >FUCK! >You cough a bit on some stew going down the wrong pipe. “Roommates? Anon, you never metioned that…” >*cough, cough* “It didn’t seem like relevant information…” “I see…” >You mom stirs her food a bit more “I don’t really know much about ponies, but from what I understand you all have special talents, whats yours?” >Rose smiles, she loves telling people about her talent “I grow and sell flowers, my favorites are Roses.” >For some reason you notice your mothers eyes light up “Oh! Maybe you can help me in the garden tomorrow! I have been having some trouble with some of my flowers.” >Rose smiles politely “I would love to help anyway I can.” >This is going better than expected >The rest of the dinner goes by with some minimal conversation >You help your mother clean up the dishes and start getting ready for night >You set up Roseluck on the couch before retiring to your own room >Before you leave her you take a quick look around >With no one in site you give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek >You have a hard time getting to sleep that night >About halfway throught the night you wake up from a nightmare covered in sweat >You don’t remember it, but it causes you to get up and go check on rose >As you open your bedroom door you discover that rose is standing outside of it >She looks up at you with worried eyes >you whisper quietly in the night >”Bad dream” >She nods >You step aside and allow her into your bedroom >It is the dead of night >Everyone is asleep >Everyone expect you and Rose >You didn’t mean for it to happen >But the smell of her, coupled with the warmth of her body pressed against you sends you into over drive >It is hard to fight a force like that >But it helps as you and Rose lie exhausted in each other’s arms >You both slowly pass into the realm of dreams. End of Part 3 Part 4: A Slow Boil >You wake up in the morning still slightly tired >Rose is still fast asleep next to you >You carefully get out of bed attempting not to wake her >You succeed and make your way downstairs >As you enter into the kitchen you sister is already up standing at the back door >No big surprise, she’s holding a small glass pipe in her hands >She takes another hit from the pipe and lets hit out coughing a little >She turns to you and smiles “Hey big bro, wanna hit; you know, for old time sakes? >”If you think I am going to do that, you must be high.” >”Oh wait, you are!” >She chuckles a bit and takes another hit >You start to make yourself a pot of coffee “So how did you sleep last night, stallion?” >You start to formulate an answer in your mind >But something stops you >Stallion… >Huh, only Rose calls you that… >But, how could she have heard it the last time Rose said that was… >Last night, in your room >Which happens to share a paper thin wall with your sister’s room >… >Well fuck… >”What did you hear last night?” >Your sister smiles mischievously “Enough to know you were railing a pony last night” >For some reason those words bring your emotions to a slow simmer >”She has a name you know…” >Your sister must have heard it in your voice because she backs off immediately “Honestly, I had a hunch before last night though” “You can’t ignore the way she looks at you, plus I got a call from your friend down at the dinner.” “So, my brother, the horsefucker; I wonder what mom and dad will think.” >”You can’t tell them! It’s the reason why I came home.” >Your sister tilts her head to the side “You came home to tell mom and dad that you’re a horsefucker?” >”It’s a lot more complicated than that, and can you stop using that word!” >A few seconds later you hear the distinct sound of hooves coming down the stairs >Roseluck comes down the stair and enters into the kitchen “Oh, good morning Anon and Sam, I was just using the bathroom.” >”She knows about last night Rose, I was just about to tell her the rest.” >Rose looks slightly embarrassed and avoids eye contact with your sister >”Sam, me and Rose are engaged.” >You sister stops and stares at you and Rose >She starts to laugh hysterically “Oh! I am going to want to be blazed for this!” >”Thanks for the sympathies sis.” >She smiles and puts the pipe away >She walks over and does something unexpected >She kneels down and hugs Rose “Don’t worry, I accept this, sis.” >Well that went better than expected >One down two to go >The rest of the morning goes relatively smoothly >Breakfast is made and devoured >Your mother and Roseluck disappear out into the garden >Your dad asks you to come with him to the store to get a few things >You agree and hop into your truck and drive into town >While shopping the conversation quickly turns to Rose “So, about that pony that you brought home.” >”She does have a name dad.” “Right Roseluck, you two seem close.” >”She is a good friend of mine.” “Yes, a good friend…” “I just want to know if it goes further than that.” >It’s ok, he knows nothing, just play dumb. >”What do you mean?” “I want to make sure that you are not one of them horsefuckers.” >”It’s nothing like that dad, me and Roseluck are just good friends.” “That good because you know what the Bible says about…” >Your dad launches into a sermon about bestiality. >Your brain turns off halfway through the sermon >It’s going to take a miracle to convince him otherwise >You sigh and continue your shopping though the store >The rest of the shopping trip and the car ride home are eerily quiet >You are thankful when you finally pull up to your childhood home >You gather the groceries and head inside >When you get inside you see you sister and Roseluck sitting on the couch >”Hey Sam, what’s up? “Nothing just hangin out.” >You look to Roseluck who has her head inside of a bag of potato chips >That’s odd >You bring the groceries into the kitchen and start putting them away >”So, is mom still out in the garden” “No, she went down to a neighbor’s house.” >Wait… >”How long ago…? >You hear your sister giggle “Oh about an hour ago.” >Rose has been left alone with your sister for an hour >Shit… >You walk back into the living room >Rose still has the bag of potato chips >”Rose, are you ok?” >You hear a muffled giggle and what sounds like a yes come from the bag >You walk over and pull the bag off of her muzzle >Rose looks up at you with a goofy smile on her face “I’m fine sweetie how are you.” >You turn to your sister who has the broadest smile on her face >”Sam, what did you do?” “Nothing…” >You look back to Rose >She spring forward and gives you a hug “I’m so glad your back, I missed you.” >”Rose, my dad is home, he could walk in at any minute…” >You hear a cough behind you >Fear runs through your veins >You didn’t hear the door even open >You turn to see your father standing in the door way >He doesn’t look happy >Not happy at all “Son, looks like we have a lot to discuss.” End of Part 4 Part 5:Boiling Point >You were able to calm your dad down enough to hold of the talk >For now >You take Rose up the stairs to your bedroom >Your sister bounds along behind >You close the door and flip on the T.V. >You quickly find some cartoons to preoccupy their minds >you start to think about how you are going to handle this >There really is no way to handle this >Either your parents accept it or they don’t >You just need to state your case and leave it at that >But they have their “doctrine” behind them >While you can always have some argument against it >You remember that most people won’t readily abandon their religious beliefs >It doesn’t look good for you and Rose >You look over at your sister and Rose >They are laughing at the latest episode of Adventure Time >You can’t exactly blame Rose for trying it >She has always been curious about trying new things >There is no way she could have known what would happen >But your sister on the other hand… >You sigh >Can’t blame her either >Sure she should have known better than to give pot to Rose >But then again Rose probably questioned her about it… >Your sister would have agreed to let her try some… >Such a mess >In a way you envy them >You wish that you could just escape from this situation >Just let your mind float and forget about the whole thing >Let the problem fade away in the background >And just rest in the bliss that is ignorance >It would be easy… >Your pretty sure that your sister has some still on her >Just crack open the window >Take a few hits >And just fade away… >But you can’t, someone had to face this >And hopefully Rose will be sober when that time comes >You begin to wonder what time you mom will get back >As if on cue you hear the muffled sound of the front door opening >The comes the muffled words of your mother and father >Followed by of course by your father screaming obscenities >”Horsefucker!”, “Deviant!”, “Pervert!” >It isn’t the words that hurt you the most >It’s what you can barely make out under the words >Your mothers quiet sobbing >It starts to break your heart >It’s your fault… >You hurt your mother and made her cry >Why couldn’t you just be a normal human? >Why did you have to fall for a pony? >Why did they have to come here? >The thoughts spin in your head >Your vision start to cloud >You find yourself unable to think straight >Put your face into your hands >You feel the heat buildup in your face >The tears come slowly >But they don’t stop >Your breath shorten as you gasp for air >You feel weak all over >You feel alone >Then something reaches out and touches you >The distinct feeling of an arm around your shoulder >It pulls you down until your laying down on someone’s stomach >The warm fur against your face and the smell of roses confirms the owner >You bury your face into your fiancés fur and let the tears flow >All the while you feel the reassuring touch of her hoof on your back >It gives you strength >You can face this >As long as it is with her >You feel yourself calming down and your breathing slowing >You get up and look into Rose’s eyes >They are still blood shot >But you can see that sobriety is returning to her gaze “I’m sorry Anon, I shouldn’t have…” >You pull her into your arms >”It’s ok Rose, we were going to have to face this eventually” >You give her a kiss on the head and then turn to your sister “Aww isn’t this sweet…” >”Sam, I should really be more pissed with you.” “Hey bro she asked…” >”I could have guessed… but now we have to deal with the consequences…” >”And you are going to help.” “Whoa! This isn’t my fight, it’s yours.” >”You got my fiancé high; it’s your fight now.” “Pfft, fine, but only because I like your pony. She’s cool.” >”Are you ready Rose?” >She nods “I think so…” >You all get up and exit your room >So see your parents both seated on the couch >The bible lays open on the table in front of them >Your mother’s eyes are red and puffy from crying >You find it hard to read your father’s expression >You sit down opposite of them >Rose sits down next to you >Your sits seats herself of to the side in-between you and your parents >Your dad opens with the first shot “Anything you have to say for yourself, horsefucker?” >You smile >”That’s a pretty derogatory term for a Christian man to use.” >That may not have been the best thing to say >You dad’s face flushes red “You know what we think about human-pony relationships…” >”Yes and it’s close minded and old fashioned!” >You dad picks up the Bible “The Old Testament says…” >”We both know that the Old Testament became invalid when the new Covenant was made.” “That doesn’t matter! The Bible says that a proper relationship is between a man and a woman” >”She is a woman, Dad!” “Wrong! She is a Mare! Nothing but a filthy animal!” >It appears it’s Roseluck turn >She is up and fighting at these words ”Mr.Mous, I don’t know much about your religion, but I do know I am more than a filthy animal!” “Stay out of this!” “No! I love your son! We came here to tell you about our relationship and to invite you to our wedding.” >Incoming shitstorm! “WHAT?! YOU’RE MARRYING THIS THING?!” >You slightly shrink away from your father’s outburst. >”Yes dad, me and Roseluck are getting married.” >It is around now that you notice one thing >Your mother hasn’t said a word about this… >”Mom, what do you have to say?” >She stares blankly at you. “Your fathers right Anon. The bible is clear what happens to horsefuckers.” >You nod, even your mother… >Rose speaks up “Mrs. Mous, we had such a great time in the garden together. Could an animal help you like that?” >Your mother’s eyes fill with tears “Th-that was be-before…” >Go with this… >”Ponies do things that animal are incapable of. They talk, they use tools, and they feel emotions.” >”They are capable of understanding other for their differences” >”The only difference between Rose and a human is that Rose looks like a pony.” >”There is no other difference.” >Your mother is quietly sobbing now. >Your father looks down at the floor avoiding eye contact with you “Leave…” >”What… dad wait…” >”Leave my home this instant!
