He blinks,before popping in a short statement "Like candies?"
>You nod "Well,in theory at least,but somehow,it only gives me a short sprout of energy,and then i feel week and drained again,i have to eat fruit to stay energized through the day."
>"Same way,let's say you have to eat veggies,or food rich in nutrients to feel well,just eating sweets won't do you much good eh?"
"Hrm,well,i mean if you don't have any issues getting fruits around it's fine.."

"But,why can't you eat normal food?",he asks,clearly curious to find out more,he knew surprisingly little about bats for dating one for over half a year..

Sandstone would nod,going on to ask you another thing "I see,so say,if you eat this hay-burger now,you'll be sick later on?"
>You'd go on to answer,swiftly so "Pretty much,depends on how much i eat of course,but in either case,it won't give me a lot of energy."
>"Hence my rush to eat today,i need to live off something,or else I'll just snore asleep during class..and that's not a good thing,i need to pay attention"
"I see..there aren't alternative food sources for you are there?"
>You'd shake your head,sure you heard of bats drinking blood,but your mommy said it wasn't what "fruit bats" were supposed to eat. "Hrm,well,not in particular no,i mean i heard of blood as food but,i don't think I'd be able to feed off that"
He's blink,a strange look of enthusiasm in his eyes "Well,would it help you get through this day?"

>You do happen to run onto a non rusty scrap after a little while,sandstone picks it up,and shapes it into form of a makeshift razor
"Alright,you happy with this blue?"
>You look at the blade,a bit scared so.

>The two of you would walk off back to the space,however quite the time passed,and it was getting colder as the day slowly turned into the night
"Well,this is it then."
>He takes the makeshift blade into his hooves,and place it against his hoof.
>He then makes a small slice along his hoof,a blood trail following soon behind it
>And,it dripping down below onto a small puddle

"You should be more careful,it appears to be a blade cut,were you attempting to cut things yourself?,you foals are getting more careless by the day!"
>You just watch him look away as she scolds sandstone,silently giggling to yourself
"It'll be alright,we'll wrap a bandage around it,and you should remove it in a few days"
"It's not a big cut, thankfully so, you foals should still be careful"
>She then turns to you and looks at you
"And what of you, are you hurt?"
>She gives you a shake of disbelief and just flips you over on your belly
"Your friend here has a cut across his hoof and you don't?,you must be hiding something!"

>You are quickly shushed by the nurse as she examines you,first your neck,then your spine,and your hooves.
