Fluttershy and Applejack both need character development, fo srs. Like, holy fuck. Applejack never does anything, and every fucking episode involving Fluttershy involves her "gaining her confidence". Rainbow Dash just needs BETTER characterization, more moments like the ones she had in Hurricane Fluttershy. That was her at her best, I think. Pinkie is okay, she's just comedic relief anyways. Twilight is second deepest character, but I feel like she's a bit predictable. But Rarity is fine as is, she's a wonderfully complex character. |

Anything really. She's tied with Rarity as my favorite character, so I really am looking forward to depth beyond being rural and liking food. She has the (non-book) smarts of Twi and Rarity but can have occasional goofy and chaotic behavior, so you'd think she'd be given more development time. |

Applejack really needs character development,i thought she would be a important key in the discord episode but i was wrong,she's nothing but a supporting character when someone is feeling down.
Pinkie in the other hand had a character development by saying she doesn't like her friends to laugh at her,but with her. Fluttershy is basically shy or pissed,she's my least favorite pony out of the main characters(out of mane 6,spike and cmc) Rainbow dash is fine,she's awesome. Rarity and Twilight are the deepest characters,my 2 favorite characters so far. |

Okay, I'll agree with you on that one. Chrysalis is mostly irredeemable and a complete monster, and all of the woobie fanon going around about her is ridiculous. It seems like a lot of it has gone away, though. Mostly because it is ridiculous. Just like how people were all "poor Woona! How dare that tyrant bitch Celestia hurt poor widdle Woona! She just wanted to be loved!" and conveniently ignore the fact that if Nightmare Moon had been allowed free reign, she would have ultimately turned half, if not all, of the world into an unlivable ball of ice and killed everything on it. She still would have been stranded on a desolate world, but the difference is that she would never have had a second chance. Whether it was intended or not, Celestia saved her from a far worse fate. |
