Why do people keep insisting pinkie breaks the 4th wall?
Sincerely the i only times i saw her doing that was intentionally at the end of 2 episodes. All this stuff about "oh she's looking at us"when she's actually looking at the pony out of the screen its getting old and annoying. |

She breaks reality more than anything, but even that is only every now and then. I guess it's the same thing as breaking the 4th wall in the fans' eyes. Either that, or that first time had left such a strong impression that it's what she's always associated with. |

Pinkie Pie is more often "cartoon logic/physics" than actual fourth wall breaking. That's just become a catchphrase that everyone on the Internet says.
Like Takuto_Shindou said, it's only when she speaks to the audience. That's acknowledging the fact that there are people watching the show and that she's part of a work of fiction. |

I'm pretty sure the only time Pinkie only broke the fourth wall was at the end of the Aspelosa episode.
If anyone deserves the fourth wall breaking title is Spike, he did it like 3 times in Lesson Zero. |
