I fucking hate it when bronies do that, because it feels like they only see the work in context of MLP.
Just look up Richard Wagner's Die Walkure, for example. Nearly every comment on that video references its cameo in MLP. It's an amazing piece of musical art that should be appreciated on its own merits. Same with other music, like Sazzle Dazzle from Chicago (featured in Pony Anthology). |
