Personally I think its because the characters have human characteristics. When you apply human characteristics to something, say a horse, suddenly you're not treating it as just an animal anymore. You're treating it as a person. And some people don't like seeing pictures of the CMC or other foals having sex because they think of them as little kids instead of just animals.
That's my opinion anyways. |

well for a start, wanking to ponies is already a bit iffy considering 1. they're ponies and 2. the large-eyes large-head way they're animated is deliberately reminiscent of infants
furthermore, the little fillies act and sound like young children; are treated by the show as young children, socially; are voice-acted by young children; and are drawn even more like young children than the rest of the characters. lol not american a bit fat though, but then that should be a given for someone posting here nice to see you confirm yourself for pedo, btw ;) (at best pedo-enabler) @trotsky, there's a chart out there by a disney animator from the 1920s, where there's one of their characters and an infant side-by-side, it explicitly noted that the character has proportionately huge eyes & a large head to make it look cute, like an infant anime follows the same rule, partly from imitation of Disney (which was a pretty big influence on early post-WWII anime and therefore the whole industry), and partly deliberately, to make their characters look cute and childlike - this is why lots of people find anime porn so fucking creepy btw now I don't know if that's something Faust was aiming for deliberately, but I'm sure she's better versed in animation history than I am, so she'd have been aware of the meaning of what she was creating |

Some people just hate sexual deviancy, but they can accept somewhat anthropomorphic intelligent animals as human analogues. Also, some people hate more sexual deviancy more than some sexual deviancy.
And a lot of people go with social norms for morality rather than the core reasons-so they'll take issue with sexual deviancy whether or not completely fictional children are the ones being sexualized. |
