^@Panda; what inspired the story is the incredibly callous way animals are used in some Asian (and Western to be fair) cooking. Eels are regularly filleted or grilled alive. Rabbits are skinned and butchered while still breathing. Fish are salted while alive.
If fluffy ponies were a reality I'm sure they could not expect gentler treatment. |

I have always seen fluffy abuse as similar in nature to pulp fictions or dime store novels; over-the-top, sensationalist, and crude. In my opinion, the over-the-top cute appearance and nature of the fluffy pony (extreme lack of intelligence or survival skills) lends itself to such a genre. Such stories are admittedly not very good, but they provide a cheap thrill that is desirable every now and again (like while cooling down between work and school). Besides if I was looking for a good story I would watch a classic movie or read a novel, not look at ponibooru. |
