It is climate change, it's also global warming. We can deal with it, we can decrease our carbon emissions to help keep climate from changing too drastically for us to deal with. Ultimately, I doubt we will be able to halt climate change or this specific event, only deal with it as it comes.

Look, kid, the earth's climate has been changing since the first day the earth existed. You've got the medieval warming period, the little ice age, the major ice ages, the olduvai warming period, the bronze age warming period,etc. all of which represent far more drastic climate changes than those speculated by the AGW advocates. The measures you demand would literally destroy the world economy and leave humanity struggling to run a 21st century world on 19th century energy levels, for a difference estimated by the advocates at less than half a degree in temperature change! |

And cutting down on Carbon Emissions would help stop the depletion of the Ozone Layer which is expected to raise Skin Cancer Rates. At the very least we should be replacing Chlorination with Ozonation faster than we currently are. |
