I have always found the passion some people use to defend fluffy ponies as more disturbing than the abuse. The "abusefags" are generally just people looking for cheap thrills. While such works could not really be called good, they serve an entertainment niche. The "luvfags" on the other hand seem to project real world memories and aspirations onto fluffy ponies. To such a group fluffies are like a cross between an idealized childhood pet and an idealized child. I can understand the desire for a cheap thrill every so often; they make great diversions during cool down periods like after work. While anyone would project nostalgia and aspirations on creatures with such limited brainpower is beyond me. The other possibility is that everything relating to fluffy ponies, abuse and luv alike, is just one big troll-fest and it was never meant to be anything else. |
