Dicks, she wanted to subjugate an entire country and harvest the emotions of its people like cattle. The whole point is that it was sort of implied that they were basically locusts looking for another food source. They would have probably ended up doing something like bleeding the land dry of emotion or some other magical bullshit, hence making Equestria a really shitty place to live. And Chrysalis certainly isn't above leaving innocent ponies to starve to death in forgotten cave systems or nearly committing regicide to accomplish her goals.
I love her as much as the much person, she's an awesome villain. But there is absolutely nothing nice or pleasant about this lady. |
