So if the episode had ended the same way with these two, with Soarin' and Dash snapping out of it then going off with no hints at a relationship like Cheerilie and Big Mac. What would Soarin Dash people be saying, would they be as idiotic as the Cheerimac fans saying its canon or would the reaction have been different? |

You guys take shipping way too damn seriously. I like Soarindash but we shouldn't be begging for the tears of Lesdash fans.
Really, I don't like how this is turning into the Harry Potter or Avatar fandom with vindictive people cackling at the site of ship-sinking. I know it's already at that point based on other comments I read, but honestly guys, shipping wars are just stupid. Let the LezDash fans have their fun. |

@5001 To be fair, a lot of it has to do with a very vocal minority of Lesdash fans accusing people of being homophobic for not seeing RD as a lesbian and that got really fucking annoying throughout this past year. It's not as bad anymore especially since they showed Soarin' dancing with Dash during a song dedicated to 'love,' but you'll still get an occasional squabble. I guess all they need is a moment like this pic in the show and that will be the ultimate trump.
My own opinion: all sexualities for Dash (or any of the mane 6) are fine, but don't be a jackass to other people about it. And yeah, shipping wars are always stupid, but they're inevitable. |

@110 Hell, I'm personally fine with all shipping that doesn't involve adultery, incest, or pedophilia. Though I'm less into yuri and yaoi because it's not really something I can relate to very well.
And I think a lot of the shipping wars you see here are just that: a vocal minority. Live and let live. |
