I remember a game, I think it was Icewind Dale II. There was a creature called a Barghest, who gained power by eating people. In your last encounter with it, you could convince it that you were absolutely bugfuck nuts, and it would outright refuse to eat you, saying, "I can't eat you! I'll get some kind of mental disease!"
I have never understood that barghest more than I do right now. Jesus, I feel like I got a mental disease just looking at that. |
