^ Because she's dark-skinned, like all of the Water Tribe. Maybe not to this extent, but that's really just a matter of artist preference. In fact, one could make the argument that Twilight isn't the exact same shade she is in the series.
TL;DR: Throw away your hangups about a character's fucking color and just enjoy good art. |
