So what exactly does the production of these toys to do the show? I'm not defending the people that make, distribute and/or use these supposed toys at all, mind you, I just fail to see the connection between the show itself and any kind of erotic material people make based on that show. |

They may not affect the production of the show.Like you said before,the sex toys are based on the show. They are using the name of the show to sell them.MLP Belongs to Hasbro and according to the laws,they are the ones who should be getting money from the name,not the people who make these toys,of course,they've been lax with with some stuff like,T-shirts for example (most of them still have to pay Hasbro a part for using the characters,though) Also,there is the Political correctness,they are not going to allow the franchise name to be tainted for stuff like this (and less if thee are people who gaining money from it) |

You're still implying that EqAD sells sex toys. It doesn't. In fact I just checked the site, and the only things on the homepage (going as far back as last week) are clopfics and new tumblr's.
The only time a 'sex toy' has been 'advertised' on that site was the Lyra plushie, which was all over the fandom anyway, and those MLP themed fleshlights. |
