Blitz's mane is corrected here. |

so wait technically she had sex with herself which would make the foal herself.
so there are 2 rainbow dash's |
| LorenzoP #1475766 2 weeks ago |
Knowing that half of the genetic material comes from each parent, and with each parent having the same DNA (save for chromosomes), the foal is a perfect clone.
Mother of Celestia, what has rule 63 done. |
| Karazor #1475797 2 weeks ago |
^not necessarily. You don't have two identical copies of each chromosome, so the offspring is likely to have at least some differences from the parent.
And a massively increased chance of genetic disorders, assuming Rainbow has any negative recessive traits. |

^Yup. On average, Dash Jr. here's going to be 25% more inbred. |

So messed up, however you look at it. |

It's the ENDING to this fic which is really brilliant. |
| Anonymous #1475858 2 weeks ago |
And that's the reason why I'm not a Fan of the Shiping in "On a Cross and Arrow", despite the fact that it's a good Fic. |
| Anonymous #1475867 2 weeks ago |
It's not from "On a Cross and Arrow", it's a pic for a thing called "Aurora Spectralis" (which is also the name of the filly) which in turn is a follow-up of "Rainbow's Lament". The content is odd, but the story is really well written. |

"Headcanon* While similar on skin level, Alternate Universe counterparts have radically different genetic codes and DNA.
...Yeah, I'm justifying this ship despite the flaws of it shut up! |
| Nightweaver20xx #1475960 2 weeks ago |
Things just got 60% more incestuous in here. |
| Anonymous #1475976 2 weeks ago |
And then the Filly's wings fall off and she travels back in time to become G3 Rainbow Dash, who is the mother of G4 Rainbow Dash, making her her own grandmother. |
| Nebbie #1476137 2 weeks ago |
On the bright side: if Rainbow has no significant negative traits (let's assume she got her DNA tested at some point to find out, and only had sex with him when she found out she was fine genetically), this daughter should be fine, and we also know the father doesn't hav such traits either. The only problem then would be mutations, meaning this filly is much less likely than average to hav genetic disorders. |

Cute! |

Nebbie Actually, they had sex because they were drunk. |
