I don't get when you'd write or draw about hurting something small and defenceless.
If anything, you'd want to hurt something large and powerful. Something that holds significance. You wouldn't make a James Bond film where the antagonist is in a coma. My headcanon on the whole ordeal is this: I imagine fluffy pony shenanigans evolved into abuse by some antisocial loser who was bullied throughout school and now wants to make someone else feel small and pathetic. But they're were too scared to get into a real fight or kidnap a hobo and cut him up, and too fat to get out of their chairs so they decided that they'd get out their anger (which they really should have gone to a therapist about) by writing a greentext story about the fluffy pony being abused by a person, rather than the fluffy pony getting into trouble itself, because the guy really dislikes the way they talk because they sound like toddlers, and he hates toddlers because they're selfish and greedy (something that has now become 'canon' about fluffy ponies). Then a ton of other nerdy, antisocial, toddler hating losers like the story because of the same reasons and so they write and draw about fluffy abuse. And to be honest, it's really quite sad. Nerds used to write and draw about superheroes who, like them were bullied and mocked, used their powers for good. But now they've lowered their standards to a more realistic level. One they could personally achieve. Where they're dealing out 'punishment' and senseless abuse to helpless creatures, just like they've suffered. So feel bad for abusefags, they haven't had an easy life. |
