*insert rage about Firefox being superior*

Seriously though, this almost makes me feel bad about Explorer constantly being the butt of the joke in so many places. Almost.

Incognito kinda have some weird feel like it logs out everytime I minimize the window

Besides, IE still have a similar 'incognito' mode and it's pretty decent if you ask me

Google Chrome is the absolute leader for the number of security vulnerabilities on the browser market right now.
IE, while not being the best ergonomically and not being the most secure — is the most well-known, and the easiest to manage on corporate level.

In short, you may not like IE, but it gets a lot of attention in big companies' networks, especially considering it works in perfect synergy with Microsoft software, making for a more reliable structure security-wise. Don't make it look like a sufferer it ain't.

I use Firefox & Chrome, not used IE since IE3, which to its credit wasn't bad as it was largely based on Firefox2

Hey come on IE we had good times back in the day. At the time you were an awesome Internet browser. Its just that times change.

New browsers come out, old ones fade away. But your're still here, your're getting a new version soon right? There's still people who love you.

Funny enough, IE is the most stable browser for playing Flash media, it seems.

Firefox crashes the damn computer at every little run in with Flash. Chrome is faring worse and worse with every new update (though it's great for most websites. I use Chrome now).

IE is slowish to browse each website, but it's a lot more stable than all of them.

Because product lock-in is a great idea! No really, the synergy is what will keep you coming bakk to Microsoft again and again. It's also why they regularly rerelease their MS Office suite despite only minor changes that could easily be patched in: they want to make sure that they remind you to stikk with them forever. At least their most recent MS Office releases didn't switch proprietary filetypes again (breaks compatibility meaning you can't switch to other software even if you want to).
IE's corporate favor is just a result of it being popular ten years ago, and having tools that make it easier to setup. Giv it 5 years, and companies will probably be on Firefox (still well behind the general population which began moving away from Firefox about two years ago)

I use IE, could never get used to Firefox, and always install Chrome because if I need to, I can login in 2 Gmail accounts at the same time.

I don't know, I never liked how Firefox worked, but as soon as I tried Chrome I loved it. I admit IE is not the best browser, but there are times when Chrome slows down on certain sites, so I guess no browser is perfect.

It was decent in 2008. Now it's slow and outdated.

Lolwut? No it wasn't. IE3 came out in 1996, Firefox 1 in 2004.

Flash is very controversial. Firefox and IE use the standard Adobe plugin, but for some reason it's not very stable for FF. Chrome uses its own plugin developed by Google instead, and it's actually more closo to the standards that Adobe itself published! But this also mean that everytime something is specific for the Adobe plugin, it may crash for Chrome.
And it crashed a lot more in the past.

I see no evidence of companies abandoning IE all for FF. When they do, they go for Chrome as well, but as a web developer I'd happily welcome Firefox too... Or IE10. Or whatever they choose instead of IE6-7-8! Or even 9, that in 5 years will be tragically old...
