They started as an adorable, fairly innocent joke in /co/ MLP generals. The most death was somewhat comedic, like "fluffy pony drops dead or drowns for no reason despite your best efforts to keep your beloved pet alive" death.
Also, they were cute. Very cute. They were naive, they were soft, they were loving and charmingly stupid, like dumb fluffy cats. But they didn't shit, piss, and birth everywhere. They were too pure then. And then you ruined them. But it's okay, they sucked in the first place. |

Holy fuck are you daft? Fluffy ponies were created by Fluffy, more commonly known by his deviantart name Mixermike622, in the 4chan board /co/. They experienced a small bit of popularity and became something of an inside joke. Then Art Anon drew a few pieces of them and then the fuckers in the Fluffy Pony threads stole them and now you have the bastardizations you have today. |

Anon#1472215 and w_o were right, it was just a cute innocent thing that meant no harm and then a bunch of other crazy anons came along and messed them up big time (I know they were weird, but come on). Fluffy ponies were already a shit-tastic meme that polluted the MLP-general thread on /co/ back then. The very first fluffy pony death was drowning. Then came more stories about how these things always die in absurd manners.
After it was established that clearly, they must be beyond dumb to always die in such ways, it was logical for some that fluffy ponies must therefore shit and piss a lot because they are that dumb. And now we have the current state of fluffy pony. |
