Because It's harder to get the episode to Australia. In America, we have Netflix, better internet, ect... Australia doesn't reall have any good equivalents. So they get a fix for that as the boxed DVD. If you want it so bad, buy it and ship it overseas. |

@#1471809: The Aussie DVD set is made by a company called Madman, not Shout Factory. They put a "20% Cooler" joke on the box as a shout out to bronies. Shout Factory's DVDs are all made with young children in mind only, so they don't even bother keeping the episodes in the correct order because as far as they are concerned, bronies don't exist. |

No such thing as region locked when you put the DVD in your computer and rip it. I have no interest in the DVDs, I'm happily waiting for a 1080p Blu-ray someday in the future. Until then, I have my iTunes episodes. |
