I like the looks of the adults, but something bothers me about the foals. I think it's the eyes.

Or we need to relive stress Or we just like the idea. I made something a few years ago. Cat like people, nekos, with cute kittens. And then i drew those kittens getting abuse and abused and abused. And that's what's happening with fluffies. It's not because we're abusers in real life, it's not because we're hypocrites or bipolar, its just pleasing, stress relieving. Hell you can place it with the same reason that makes levels like NO RUSSIAN or bloody games popular. We won't do it in real life, but hey, its there and it's something that feels good, so go with it. |

We don't hate them... We just like to see them suffer, that's all. Most of the time they deserve it. @Tabula (tl;dr: dogs are useful and intelligent animals, fluffies are useless, stupid, and annoying) The difference is that a puppy will eventually learn if you're patient enough to train it to not poop on your carpet or chew your slippers. Puppies genuinely don't know any better and are innocent. Plus when they're older they can be more than a companion animal, being able to alert you about intruders and even chase them off, or in my case, keep the backyard clear of neighborhood stray cats. And unlike fluffies, puppies don't talk or complain, and they're not spoiled most of the time. Wild dogs like dingos are noble beasts who play an important part in the ecosystem, like culling the local rat population. Fluffies, on the other hand, are completely stupid, ignorant creatures with no sense of self-preservation, and when you train them, half the time they'll disregard or forget about the training and do things like shit on your carpet. They complain about everything all day and never, ever shut up. They're only companion animals; the most use they have otherwise is being fed to other animals or using their stool as fertilizer on crack and steroids. "Wild" fluffies, that is, ferals, are hugely annoying pests who harass farmers, eat their crops, and shit all over their land, and not, unfortunately, on the fields were the stool would be put to good use. |

There's also the fact that fluffies dying has been the primary focus of the little bastards since day one. While the stories that have been about them getting themselves killed or being killed by abuse are indeed started on different dates, it's always been about one thing: the streets flowing with fluffy blood. |

Training sticking or not stick tends to vary from writer to writer and fluffy to fluffy perhaps instead of puppy I should have said lapdog, or a lapdog puppy. Cause really a Fluffy is kind of like a mentally challenged Pomeranian, and you can't tell me a Pomeranian is good for anything other than being petted and yapping |

I get that pretending to do terrible things in the realm of imagination can be funny or cathartic in real life. Playing the part of the villain can be fun.
What rustles my proverbial jimmies is when people try to claim that the heinous fictional acts are justified within the fiction because fluffies are vermin or what-have-you. Even if you accept this premise, the reasonableness of which varies widely depending on the applied headcanon, I still can't see most fluffy/yukkuri abuse protagonists as anything other than monsters and madmen. If someone simply kills a rat for intruding in their kitchen, they are a reasonable person. If someone finds a rat in their kitchen and then cuts off the rat's limbs and then slowly lowers the rats children into acid in front of them, all because they enjoy the creatures' suffering, that person is insane. I'm not saying there's something wrong with you if you write stories about crazy people doing terrible things. I've played plenty of video games in which I engaged in rampant unhinged slaughter. However, I find some of the lines of reasoning tossed out in these Internet debates unsettling. |

True, it does vary. It's just my personal headcanon that, outside of diligent training and/or the fluffy being smarter then average, the training doesn't stick. Whatever. True, most lapdogs aren't good for anything other than alerting you to intruders(problem is that 99.99% of the time it's just an unassuming pedestrian walking by the house). My cousin had a Pom, hated the annoying little bastard. |

People want to abuse fluffy ponies because it is the only way to make them interesting. They are not cute. They are the kind of half-assed cute imagined by 8 year olds or a really unimaginitive marketing department. Fluffy pony personalities are annoying. If my dog talked like a fluffy pony I would drown it. If fluffy ponies were interesting at all I would probably not like the abuse, much like how I do not like abuse fics/pics involving actual MLPFIM characters. I can understand not liking fluffy abuse, but how can anyone like fluffy ponies themselves? |

@sigh Well, in my view on this, either the fluffies are scum with no intelligence or value and the torturer is insane for thinking they have feelings, or the fluffies actually are sentient and the torturer is a complete monster. I see no scenario in which torture is justified within the fiction.
If there were some in-between state where something could be human enough to have feelings, family, and conversations but inhuman enough to be of no moral value, then it would be acceptable to torment the mentally disabled at some point. That's not an unheard of view, but I've never known it to lead to anything but atrocity. You can create such a scenario within the world of fiction, but it still seems terrible to argue in favor of such views back in reality. @Anon403 'Cute' and 'Interesting' are subjective. I find the fluffy flash content currently in development to be both. I won't fault anyone for disagreeing. Now, killing someone or something for having an annoying personality is an understandable fantasy to have, but to act on such feelings in reality is the domain of the deranged. |
