And who decides what "most users" think about what is annoying and what isn't? Making a "one size fits all" tag kind of defeats the purpose of tags in the first place, to pick and choose what you see. |

Is true that would not be an accurate tag and cannot accomodate everyone tastes, but it would have some good feature.
Example: Nyx. Mostly pics made by trolls and haters, but many other are more than decent arts. With just a "nyx" tag you would filter everything related to her, good and bad things together. |

If it can't accommodate everyone's tastes (which it can't), then the entire point is moot. Just let people maintain their own filters, and if they're too lazy or ignorant to do so, that's on them. We don't need you or anyone else to hold our hands and tell us what's annoying. |

I cannot even imagine a way to force everyone to add this common tag to their filter list. Of course i don' t wanna hold anyone' s hand. If for some strange reason this idea is gonna be liked by the community the only thing you should do is to not add the tag to your filter list. Basically nothing would change for you. |

The problem with a filter_this tag is that you'd need different levels of it, from restricting results from just 'pure art', down to comics and such, then meta and memes, edits, then spam and garbage. I don't think it would be a bad system to have available, to be honest.
I can completely understand the need to seperate regular art from general images without a hundred different filters, but unfortunatly it's just a bit too subjective to really work. |
