I reccomend Wakfu to anyone. Its another thing that's a kid's show but it gets dark pretty goddamn fast.
And Nox is probably one of the few villains I can actually feel really sorry for... He just wanted to turn the clock back to save his family. Undo his mistakes. So what if he had to kill thousands to do it? Also made French sound creepy for a change in his special |

I have to somewhat agree with Psychopomf.
Though turning back the clock is something he was warned against, apparently, and it was a feat that not even the god Xelor could do. That kind of cements his insanity. But what really makes me feel sorry for him is his absolute, genuine remorse for failing. He never wanted his atrocities to be permanent. And seeing his plan fail so spectacularly and realizing he couldn't take back what he did was something that just so utterly broke him and his will to live. Keep in mind, he did all he did because he missed his family and wanted them back. This love and subsequent remorse when his insanity amounts to nothing perhaps suggests he had all the makings of a decent person. Maybe in a different circumstance, he and Yugo could've been friends... |
