Hmm, well, the problem that I have with Gumball and Adventure time (but not the other shows, never read Homestuck though) is that they use manatee gags. There's a lot of humor to be found in non sequiturs and just random shit, Monty Python is a classic example, but shows like these rely on it to the point where there's just nothing else, no actual humor or creativity, all it is is manatee gag after manatee gag. |
