07/31/11 - If you see an image you think should be deleted, please do not replace the tags with "deleteme"! This voids valuable metadata that needs to be recreated, and might expose people to material they don't like in the meanwhile. Use the "Report Image" button instead.
IT LITERALLY says it right at the top, in red, so that you notice it. There is still CP either because people don't REPORT it, and instead retag it where the mods wont see it, or because it is so far down in the queue because of the fact that people don't apparently know how to use the report button as NOT a search bar. If you see CP, REPORT the image, do not retag it. There is a report button for a reason. We can only moderate what is brought to our attention most of the time because the site is SO large, and images are uploaded so quickly. If you feel that it has been a long while and it is still up, it's very likely that the report got pushed down far into the queue simply based on again, the lack of using the report feature correctly. But if this is the case and it's been a /while/, feel free to report it again. I will even give you permission to PM me (( I cannot and will not speak for the other mods. )) a link of the CP (( ONLY CP, not just a report in general.)) so that it can be taken down quicker. CP is illegal, and we are doing our best to deal with it with the influx of other things to maintain the site. Given it's illegality, I am trying to work quicker to take it down than other images that are simply "against the rules" I would thank you to use the report feature as it is CLEARLY stated in the rules, and as well for using the site and bringing this up in a not very confrontational way. We're working very hard, I assure you, to attempt to maintain the site. Especially after the outage recently. However, we do need you to follow the rules and report things to bring them to our attention. Thank you. |

I ADDED the deleteme tag. I did not replace the tags with just deleteme. You can see it on the tag history. Is simply having the deleteme tag in there capable of destroying the metadata? If so, please adjust the warning at the top because I thought it only meant replacing all the tags with deleteme. Also, what LightsaberGuy said in a less vulgar/insulting tone. |
