I know what you mean. Then again, I'm never "only" browsing ponibooru. I'm either doing work, reading, or watching videos while some pictures I've qued up are loading. |

Danbooru has a lot more images and probably just as much traffic. The argument itself is sound, regardless of whether you do something while the pages are loading.
However, Danbooru actually has accounts you can upgrade, so they may get money for that and that may go to make the site faster. Gelbooru on the other hand has no such system, and it's still faster... |

A habit I have picked up is clicking all the images I want to open AFTER clicking the next page icon. So sometimes when I'm on other sites I'm frustrated because they load instantly before I can do that, and then I have to click "Back". And then THAT loads in a second and I realize things are very different Out There... |
