They were caught in an accident. They were bucking trees desperately in a thunderstorm because they lacked money at the time (the farm wasn't doing so well). A tree eventually got struck by lightning and fell on the mother, and she died of internal bleeding in the hospital that night. The father, after months of trying to fill the void, just couldn't take it anymore and had to leave.

So, um - Cockatrice victims? They're gonna be foudn and revived in an upcoming episode. - They were there in Ponyville all along! You just never asked! They're just um, camera shy. - Apple family members aren't born; they are grown. If they ARE dead though, I want them to be dead dead, like normal dead. I do not want a sob story about how they were heroes who sacrificed themselves for Equestria or something like that. Except if it is a fanfic, because then you could make AJ into one of those militaristic hics and have her fight in a war too. But yeah, something that goes with the country theme should be used. Work related accident or whatever. Like, she gets poisoning from wrong fertilizers and he gets eaten by timberwolves. |
