I hope it will end in a tragedy, with less than a handful of the fluffy ponies in the end surviviving.

Nope, No-Name/Mist is too much of a Softy be a Smarty Friend .... right now.
As time goes by, and hardships come and go, he might 'harden up', but right now he's the go-to-guy for Hugs and Comfort. He's loyal, somewhat brave and ready to protect his friends, but he's far too nice to be a decent Smarty Friend. Bandit, on the other hand, has just the right about of Badass and Nice Guy to be a Smarty Friend. |

Bandit's Herd will go towards the park, abandoning Haven to the rampaging Herds.
Who will stay, and who will go, will be revealed in the next chapters. Leaves is still in the Park, waiting for the Foals to get big enough that the Garbage Dump will be relatively 'safe' for them. The Herd Alliance, however, has moved without her, each of the Smarty Friends jockeying to find Haven for themselves and 'betray' their allies. And the Cannibals will likely follow the trail of Fluffies into the Underground as well.... Did I mention nobody has seen the Alligator for a while? |
