This is entirely correct. In 2013 the reanimated Beethoven, brought back to life by fans disgusted by modern music, killed both Justin Beiber and Lady Gaga at the VMA's. He choked one with each hand, before going on a mad rampage through the rest of the audience.

Casualties were almost total.

Never call Bieber a musician.

Bwahahaha... but seriously, as much as people whine about respecting the classics, we need to give the classicALS a chance as well. I got a friend who does violin on an orchestra, I'd hate for him to lose that just because the media keeps treating his style as a museum relic.

And the ratings that year were the highest they've ever been.

Although I don't disagree, Beethoven would be a more acrutate analogy than Bach. Bach was more well know as a teacher in his time, and his biggest contribution to music was even temperament. Beethoven, however, was the first the first composer to write "for the sake of art" and, because of this, started a new era in music, leading to the revival of several composers such as Bach.

Man, I love classical music. That's part of the reason I'm learning to play cello. Also, cellos sound awesome.
(Yes, part of the reason I picked cello is because of Octavia, jeez.)

I wonder what would happen when Lyra uncovers the Beatles, Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, and Stevie Wonder?

As do I. Cello, so far, is proving kinda difficult for me to get used to though. If that doesn’t work out out I can always fall back on piano >_<. How long have you been playing?

Not at all, actually. I've been looking for a place from which I can rent one, and I've got a lovely model sitting in my Amazon wish list for purchase.
So I guess it'd be more appropriate to say "I'm going to learn to play" as opposed to "I'm learning to play."

Not if I build life-like androids of the Vocaloids. Why do you think I'm studying robotics?

The more time and effort it takes to create the music, the less popular it will be.
