It's like this: Dreadwing is competent.
And for Celestia's sake, the fight against G1 Starscream was a joke fight. The highballed Dash's abilities to an absurd extent, ignored some of Starscream's weapons, and gave him a new one for the sole purpose of letting Dash actually injure him. That fight also ignored Dash's weather control abilities, which, okay, she never seems to remember in a fight. |
