That's the first time I've ever read about parasites on a fluffy. My headcannon was that all creatures instinctively know that fluffies are artificial, and either attack on sight, or avoid them entirely. I just assumed that fluffy blood wasn't attractive to bugs. |

Why would their artificiality have anything to do with it? They're still made out of the same amino acids, proteins, calcites, lipids, etc., as any other animal.
The only thing that'd screw with animals is the fact that they sound sort of like humans. If anything, they'd be left alone by many things on that count. |

@lordanubis: I always figured parasites were just a general property of the filth on a feral fluffy, nothing that normally warrants a detailed cataloguing. Just a typical paraside load, no special parasites like the squirrel fleas that can occasionally transmit bubonic plague. And nothing you couldn't fix with a flea dip and a couple courses of antibiotics and de-wormers. |
