That's not going to work Dash, the end of the hammer won't hit the pin. |

^ I think Dash is trying to set of the bullet by hitting it with the hammer, but it won't work as you have to hit it in just the right spot.
The little indent in the center is not going to be hit right so it won't go off. |

I watched through all the Phantasm movies yesterday. The boy in the first one taped a pin between a shotgun shell and a hammer. Made me wonder if that would really work. |

^ It might just work, but it'll be dangerous. The barrel of a gun keeps the cartridge/shell safely in place, channeling the explosion in the right direction. You shouldn't try setting off a round outside of a gun. |
