@ Nightjack. I don't think it's her understanding of tech so much as it is its novelty to her. I don't know how video games and computers and TVs work, but I still use them. I'm only just now really getting into different computer stuff, and I'm 22. Give me rocks damnit... I'll go flintknapping XD |

People keep getting fanon and canon confused. Gamer Luna has no canon at all.
Though if your comment is only about the fanon, you should still realize that while Luna had a lot of catching up to do, she is on the mindset that she needs to catch up, making her more likely to try to pick up new things, esppecially the technology, plus games are fun, so that further encourages her to pick that up faster. |

Royal Canterlot Neatness.
@DoctorDreidal Celestia tries to make herself more relateable to regular ponies, and part of that seems to be ignoring ancient traditions and meaningless protocol. Unfortunately, she doesn't realise that Luna's perplexing adherence to dead customs is one of her charm points, and that a living goddess acting like a regular pony just makes everypony suspicious. |

^Yes, they all thought Luna's attendance at NightMare Night was just a special event that was intended to fit the theme of the evening. And that's why everypony was terrified of her during NightMare Night. Or at least, that's the reason in my headcanon. |
