1. There's a little thing called "empathy." It's something that most people have. It's what you're seeing.
2. Love is hard enough to find in the world, and most people grasp at the chance to get it any time that they can. 3. Saying that about child molesters and slave traders is basically the equivalent of screaming "FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS." Just because those are problems, doesn't mean that this is any less of one. 1. No they have sympathy. Empathy is knowing how somebody feels, having experienced it. So yes, maybe they do have empathy from clicking on that "Hey, i'm all alone in your area and i'm horny" message that pops up when you go to nudie sites only to find out that she never existed

1. I don't know where SMG13 met this person, so I can't really comment. 2. Or, you know, just the reproducing part. Dogs didn't need love to continue to where they are. Ants didn't need love to continue where they are. Love isn't needed for that. Some people want it, or the illusion of it, some others don't. I never said my faith in humanity was lost, myself. It was lost long ago for way worse things than this. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't at least be disappointed about things like this. Personally, I don't really get angry over these things. I just get annoyed that there are still people in the world that would do it. |

When I found about this stuff, I was first "the fuck, seriously?" and then I chuckled. Guess that makes me a horrible person. Still, I think this kind of thing could get his trolls into legal trouble, which he should look into and pursue. But seriously, getting suicidal over a girl you never met in real life? Wow, and this is coming from someone who also has depression, had a bad falling out with first gf, and who considered a bullet in the brain more than once. This is why I think internet relationships are bad. You can never really be sure if the other person is real or just an actor/actress. They could be literally be anyone or, like in this case, might not even be real.
But to kill of this imaginary fake woman? That is so wrong on sooo many levels. That isn't even a sick joke, that's just sick. And @284, there are many ways to love. I see your point (or rather the point you're trying to make), but you can't really compare a human and a hamburger. A human can chat back to you, and that is a part of the attraction.
