In Dragon Quest, the male Spike is worried about being emasculated (well, not being dragon enough) due to being friends with females in a matriarchal society.
Does that mean Barb would be worried about being too masculine due to being friends with males in a patriarchal society? |

You know, one fanfic idea I have involves the Mane 6 ending up in another country that's the opposite of Canterlot (the biggest being that the guys rule everything and it's very patriarchal...basically just like our world), with them having to adjust to having less power and opportunities solely because they're female. If anyone wants to dabble that, feel free. |
