^ quite a few southerners fought for the north because they didn't believe in doing the bidding of the slavocracy |

ok... Before anybody says that the war was over slavery, IT wasn't, there were a lot of things that caused it and no pretty much most native southerners fought for Independence in fact half the population in Kentucky left to join the southern army even though the state voted Union. if what 692 said was true you wouldn't have Robert E. Lee leading the confederacy, the same can be said for Stonewall Jackson, who illegally taught black children to read so they could learn their scripture.
every time I hear that the war was to end slavery...I cant help but facepalm. |
