I first saw references of MLP on Memebase. I hate meme base now, but that's beside the point. I never really gave it much thought until I saw this video. After that I discovered Ponibooru through KYM and, quite frankly, It's the only pony site I actually care about. I only use EqD for news. And, without this fandom, I wouldn't have given the show a second thought. |

Learned about MLP from KnowYourMeme, found Ponibooru about a week later, and have visited this site more than any other. I like what I've found here, and I branched off and made accounts on FiMFiction and Tumblr to keep up with the rest of the fandom, but Ponibooru remains the site I most enjoy being a part of. |

I was watching a few cartoons on youtube when FIM popped up in the results.I initially tried to keep away from it because of the creepy brony comments.
But one day a few collegemates were watching the episodes.I was still very wary, but intrigued.I downloaded the two-parter pilot and now my life is ruined. |

I'm @Saint_Braeburn and I have been a named member on this site March 2012. I have spent time on this site as Anon since early February.
I saw some Deviant Art pictures of the MLP cast and that was how I first became aware of this show.But I dismissed it since it didn't seem to appeal to my interests. Months later I found myself suddenly wanting to read Grim/Scary books (I have no idea why). However since I could think of no particular book in my mind, I checked TV tropes for Dark Fanfiction. And that's how I learned about Cupcakes. On a side note clicking the link to read the fanfic was how I discovered EqD. When I read the Fanfic (This happened to be the first fan-fic I had ever read.) I was bothered by the fact that I didn't really know any of the characters. It's hard to get interested in a fic that was just some talking Pink pony killing a talking Rainbow Pony. The fact that I still imagined them as G1 style ponies and was confused about Rainbow Dash's gender didn't help. This incident led to me becoming curious and wanting to know more. I then spent some a couple weeks or so reading pony Tumblrs, watching random clips on Youtube and occasionally reading the MLP wiki. This was how I became acquainted with the characters. I started watching the show (online) somewhere between The Return of Harmony Part 2 and Lesson Zero. I'm not 100% sure what led me to Ponibooru but it was either TV.tropes,VG Cats or the Ask Sketchy Twilight Tumblr. Interesting Fact: To this day I've never watched the entirety of the following episodes, Friendship is Magic part 2, Feeling Pinkie Keen, Sonic Rainboom, A Bird in the Hoof, and The Show Stoppers. And like @Baron this fandom was crucial to me watching this show. |

My bother started watching ponies then I started watching when I saw Apple Buck Season, Swarm of the Century, Sonic Rainboom, err... the episode where Rarity makes the dresses, Party of One, and Best Night Ever, then I realized all the ponies are crazy and I love crazy. |

I follow some artist on Deviantart, one of them (Tom Preston) and he started talking and putting some ponies on his art, even on his comics... same with another artist i like (rinacat) and other artist, mention the little ponies
well curiosity took the best part of me, and since these artist have some taste on cartoons that are like mine, i decided to give my little pony a chance... and like i always do i decided to see 3 episodes and if i didn´t liked it, i´ll watch something else Good Lord... those 3 ended being 9 episodes, and the next day even more episodes |

Deviantart and the Ponycraft 2 trailer caused me to Pony. I believe it was DA that brought me to the booru. I lurked for many a month as an anon before I decided to join the community. I've always loved cartoons and the fan output and it's been really awesome with this show. |
