Stereotypes... Black people like eating Chicken. Dates back to the slave times where the only thing they could eat was chicken given to them by their owners, along with flour for bread. Theu would sneak some oil and fry some chicken with the flour. Commonly this was done on Sunday when their owners were at Church. Giving them time to cook it. Hence the tradition of Fried Chicken on Sunday. Disney put out the idea of Black people liking Watermelon in a cartoon and it stuck. |
