You know, unicorns in this show don't really have a good reputation.
Twilight Sparkle: obsessed student of magic who's perfectly willing to use her powers to manipulate other ponies. Rarity: Femme fatale who uses her charms to talk other ponies into doing her dirty work for her. The Great and Powerful Trixie: Egomaniacal show-off. The Flim Flam Brothers: Con artists. Prince Blueblood: need I say more? About the only halfway decent Unicorn we've seen is Fancy Pants, and he's the head of the "beautiful people" set in Canterlot. Is it the magic? Seriously, there must be some explanation why Unicorns in Equestria are by-and-large a bunch of jerks. |
